Something that in his eyes should be cherished, coddled, and protected from the ugliness of life. Since he wasn’t about to argue with her again about her damn job, this was his way of getting his peace of mind back. The proposal is something he’d come up with once he’d made it back to the farm and was working hard alongside his men to get the shooting off of his mind.

Celia wasn’t sure what demons were chasing Riley. In the tub, the water had gone a long way to easing the power in some of his thrusts, but now she could feel it all. He was holding nothing back as he fucked into her like he had a point to prove. There was a mix of anger and heat in those thrusts, and she looked back over her shoulder the fourth or fifth time he slammed his cock into her, but the look of concentration on his face gave her pause.

Their eyes met and held, and she saw the heat and the agony there, and something inside her softened. She reached a hand back to him, and he turned his head to kiss her palm and eased up on his fuck stroke. Precum and cunt snot was leaking out of her as he changed up and did an easy glide in and out of her sweet honey pot.

Riley reached around and held her tummy as he pulled her back onto his raging cock, getting up on his toes to go deeper until she screeched and bucked, sending her ass higher in the air. Riley took the opportunity to fist her hair with one hand and grab her hip with the other to hold her in place before letting go.

“Fuck, yes!” He threw his head back, eyes closed as a feeling so strong shot through him from his head to his toes that he thought he was going to pass out on his feet.

“Come on, Marissa, one more lap, you’ve got this, you’re doing good, that’s it.” Coach Ryan Swamp encouraged his star pupil as she pushed herself hard to beat her own time around the high school track. He was trying hard to keep his excitement contained so as not to put too much pressure on the sixteen-year-old, but it was hard.

In his seven years of being the track and field coach at Briar Reef High, Marissa was the first pupil in whom he’d seen such promise. They were already talking Olympic tryouts in the near future if things kept up this well. But coach Swamp knew the dangers of putting too much pressure on the young girl and how much a healthy balance was needed.

On the heel of that thought, he remembered that his stepdaughter Connie was sitting in the stands waiting for him. He looked back and up with a smile and waved at her. He’d told her not to wait around for him because he knew today was going to be a long one. She could’ve hitched a ride with one of her friends since the fifteen-year-old was too young to drive, but she insisted on staying.

Coach Swamp turned back to the track where Marissa was coming in a few seconds beneath her last already exceptional time. “Great job Marissa.” They high fived and grinned at each other, all but jumping up and down with excitement as he relayed the fact that she’d beaten her best time.

“Are you heading to the showers or going home?” He only asked because it was dark out, and there was no one else on the school grounds except for the janitors, and he wouldn’t feel right leaving her here on her own. Marissa looked back at the empty building before turning back to him. “Nah, I’ll shower at home.”

“I’ll see you tomorrow.” Ryan patted her shoulder and told her once again how proud he was of her achievements and how far she’d come. “Come on, Connie, let’s go home to mom.” Connie wore a bright smile on her face as she made her way down to her stepdad’s side.

She felt warm inside when he hugged her shoulder and led her to his waiting jeep with Marissa walking ahead of them to her car. She wasn’t surprised that he was so protective of the other girl, making sure she got into her car and drove off safely. That’s just the type of person he is.

Ever since he married her mom a couple of years ago, her life had changed for the better. Until then, she’d never had a dad since her sperm donor had left her mom long before she was even born. Something that she had never gotten over once she was old enough to understand.

It had been just her and her mom for as long as she could remember, and though her bio dad had paid court appointed child support, he hadn’t had any interest in having a relationship with his daughter. Then to make matters worst, when Connie was seven, her dad got married, and his wife gave birth to a little girl whom he seemed to love. Two years later, they had a boy, and their little family was now complete, and Connie had been all but forgotten.
