She giggled because they were covered with cupcakes.
“There.” He patted her bottom, still squatting in front of her. “Ellie’s Daddy, Garrett, called while you were napping. He invited us to join them at Blaze this Friday night. Have you heard of Blaze?”
She nodded. “That’s the club a lot of Littles belong to. What did you tell him?” She felt nervous.
“I told him I would have to ask my Little girl, of course.” He slid his hand under her dress, cupped her bottom over the panties, and pulled her closer until he could kiss her lips. “I bet it would be fun.”
She thought about it for a moment. “What if I can’t get out of this really young headspace?”
“Then you’ll be in a really young headspace, Cupcake. Littles come in all ages. No one will judge you. I’m sure some Littles come to the club in different age ranges every weekend.”
“Are you sure?”
“I’m positive.”
“Okay. I bet I can be a big girl though.” She shrugged, convincing herself she could definitely be the older Little she thought she was before this afternoon. She really liked this dynamic, but she could do both, couldn’t she?
Chapter Eighteen
Valerie felt cute as they walked to the entrance of Blaze. She wore a sundress with wide straps and a ruffle at the bottom. It was a new present from her Daddy, and she loved the parrots flying around on it. This way she could take Tarzan with her without feeling self-conscious about carrying the stuffie. Grayson had fixed her hair in the two braids he liked to see her in but had twirled them around to make small buns on the top of her head. She was like a Little in disguise.
Tarson opened the door as they walked in and greeted them warmly. “Hey, you two. Garrett told me you might come by tonight. Let me show you where to stash your stuff.”
Grayson claimed a locker and placed their things together as Tarson reviewed the rules for them. She immediately felt better knowing there were so many safeguards put in place to keep bad things from happening. She clung to her Daddy’s hand as Tarson led them into the club.
“There are some Littles already here. My Daisy is playing with Ellie and a few others you might recognize. Would you like to visit that section first?” Tarson asked with a smile.
“Yes, please,” Valerie answered politely.
She tried not to stare as they walked through the club to the daycare area. It was surrounded by a half wall, making it feel protected but open so Daddies or Mommies could monitor what the Littles were up to. “Don’t leave me,” she whispered furiously to her Daddy as she tightened her grip on his hand.
“Not until you tell me you’re ready for me to leave,” he reassured her with a kind smile.
“Valerie!” Ellie called when she spotted her coming close.
She rushed forward to greet her friend but stopped in her tracks when Tarson cleared his throat loudly. “Oops! I forgot Daddy told me to stay inside the daycare until he got back.”
“He had to search everywhere for you last weekend, Little girl, only to find you fast asleep on the extra spanking bench in the supply room,” Tarson reminded her.
“It was comfortable.” Ellie paused to rub her bottom as if she remembered something. “Well, until it got used for ‘the purpose for which it was designed.’” She added hand gestures to put part of that in quote marks.
“That wasn’t the best idea,” Valerie whispered.
“I know. It might have been the worst idea,” Ellie agreed.
“Oh, it wasn’t the most trouble you could get into here,” Tarson said meaningfully as he looked at his Little girl, Daisy. She immediately turned red and scuffed the toe of her shoe on the floor.
“Sorry, Daddy!”
“What did you do?” Valerie asked.
Daisy shook her head, not willing to admit what she’d done.
“Give her a few minutes, she’ll tell you exactly why her Daddy has a very short haircut now,” Tarson assured Valerie before kissing the top of Daisy’s head to let her know she was forgiven. “You didn’t bring gum, did you?” Tarson asked Valerie.
“No, I don’t like gum,” Valerie said, trying to put the pieces together.
“Good. Neither do I,” he shared with another serious look at Daisy. “I’ll go back to the front door. You girls have fun.”
Ellie wrapped her arm under Valerie’s and tugged her over to meet the other Littles who sat at the table coloring. She already knew the Littles who worked at Little Cakes and felt right at home with Riley and Sue. Sitting down with the group, Valerie felt like she fit in as she chose a picture of a colorful parrot to decorate.
“Valerie?”
She turned self-consciously when she heard Tori’s voice. “Umm, hi! Ellie invited me,” Valerie confessed, avoiding looking at Tori’s Daddy, Evan—her boss. She crossed her fingers, hoping there wouldn’t be any negative effects because she was here and Little. Even though he’d known she was Little for a while didn’t mean it wouldn’t be awkward to outwardly express her kink in front of him.
