“Okay,” he replied huskily.

I pulled him close to me, held him tight, and we went to sleep.

I nuzzled into Jude’s neck and kissed him. He groaned in response, and not the sexy let’s-have-morning-sex way, but in the I’m-tired-leave-me-alone way.

“Wake up, sleepy face.”

“No.”

“Please?” I kissed him again, but he ignored me, and I figured he was already out of it. Chuckling quietly, I got out of bed, took a piss, washed my hands, and started coffee.

While I waited for him to wake up, I played some Call of Duty in my underwear because it was still my favorite game and being in my underwear was the next best thing to being naked.

A good hour and a half later, there was a noise behind me. I looked over my shoulder to see a sluggish Jude rubbing his face as he walked out of the bedroom, wearing only his underwear too. “Coffee,” he grunted.

I couldn’t help but take in the view. A half-nude Jude was a beautiful thing. “It’s in the kitchen waiting for you—Motherfucker,” I growled when I realized I died. Tossing the controller on the coffee table, I leaned back and waited for Jude.

He doctored his coffee, then sat on the couch beside me. “Why are you such an early bird?”

“Why are you such a sleepy face?” I countered.

He took a drink of his coffee and moaned, which went straight to my dick, making it plump up. Jude noticed and cocked a brow at me.

“I can’t help it. You’re fucking sexy. Set the coffee down. I know a better way to wake you up.”

He did so without argument, and I got us both naked, then got on my knees, jerked off and blew him. I shot when he did, swallowed his load, and waggled my brows at him. “Told you I was good at that.”

“I’m seeing that. I’m pretty sure you sucked my brains through my cock. I, um…wanna try that with you, sometime soon.”

“Sucking my brains through my cock?”

He rolled his eyes. “You know what I mean.”

“Whenever you’re ready.”

“Do you wanna go out to breakfast or something?” Jude asked. “My treat.”

“Are you asking me on a date, Boyfriend?”

He shrugged, smiled, then said, “Yes.”

“Then yep, I’d love to go to breakfast with you.”

“Would you have said no if it wasn’t a date?” he countered.

“No, but I like it better that it is.”

His golden skin was tinged with pink. “I do too.” He shook his head. “I don’t know what you’re doing to me.”

“I don’t know either, but you’re doing the same to me.” I pushed to my feet, and his eyes snagged on my cock. “Remember all those times you insisted you were straight? One taste of this was all you needed.” Wrapping a hand around myself, I stroked my shaft.

“Oh, fuck you. I haven’t tasted it yet, and now I’m not going to.” He stood too.

“Don’t be embarrassed. There’s just something about me. A sort of magnetism that makes it impossible not to want me.”

“Want to hate you? Because I want that real bad right now.”

“No you don’t. You wanna take me on a date, Fake Boyfriend, so get your ass in the bedroom and get dressed so we can go.”

Jude flicked me off, but he did just what I said.

CHAPTER FIFTEEN

Jude

Awkward Boy really thinks he might be gay but is scared to tell anyone. ~ Theo’s comic

Yesterday had been a good day with Camden. We had breakfast, then went back to the condo because I had to work later that night. He stayed with me until I went in, and then I thought about him while I was on my shift…basically the whole damn time, the fucker.

At some point Charlie mentioned him, which ruffled my feathers more than it should, so I continued to spread the lie about him being my boyfriend by confirming we were together…only we weren’t really, I didn’t think. We’d talked about being fake boyfriends and fucking around, but that was it.

Did I want to be real boyfriends with him? Were we basically already? I wasn’t sure.

Jesus, maybe Lincoln was right and Fever Falls really had some kind of magic…something or the other in the water, because I was now thinking about being fucked, giving head, and wondering if I wanted my friend to be my real boyfriend rather than my fake one.

Life was so damn weird sometimes.

My gaze darted to the scenery as I continued my drive to Rush’s. We hadn’t hung out together in a while, so when he’d texted me last night about going over to ride on his track today, I’d been all for it.

I pulled into his driveway and jumped out. As soon as my arm lifted to knock, the door pulled open and Rush’s mom was there.

“There’s my sweet boy.” She pulled me into a hug, and I closed my eyes, savoring it. She was the only reason I knew what it was like to have a mom.
