Mikayla grabbed her hand and tugged her to the kitchen. Lennox shot me a panicked look, but I just shrugged and smirked. When it came to the women, whatever was happening was usually out of our hands, and we just had to roll with the flow.

“You’re one of us now!” Mikayla told her. As soon as the door opened, Cecily, Athena, and Harbor poured love on her, welcoming her in with open arms and cheers of congratulations.

“You think dinner is going to get cooked now?” Elliot asked as he came from down the hall, Oliver waddling ahead of him in nothing but a t-shirt and a pull-up. I heard someone yell, “Shots!” from within the kitchen and snorted.

“Doubt it if they’re drinking,” I said. Adler handed me a beer, and I nodded in thanks. “Who’s ordering food?”

Adler arched a brow at me. “Better be you since you wanna go get your ass locked up. You owe me fifty dollars, by the way, for bonding your sorry ass out.”

I snickered and pulled my wallet out of my jeans. I grabbed a fifty out and handed it to him. “There. How much do I owe for the tires on Lennox’s car?”

He shook his head at me as he pocketed the fifty. “She’s family, and it’s not her fault her ex is a fucking psycho. If she asks, you paid me back. But otherwise, consider it done.”

I nodded once and clapped a hand to his shoulder. “Appreciate it, brother.” I pulled my phone out of my pocket after putting my wallet away. “Pizza sound good?”

“Pizza’s fine,” Remi said, leaning his elbow on my shoulder. He looked at the five of us, shaking his head with a woeful sigh. “Guess I’m the last single one, huh?”

I smirked at him. As the baby out of all of us, it wasn’t all that surprising he was the last single one of us left. “Bet it won’t last long,” I teased him.

He snorted and shoved me. “Fuck you. I’m going to be single forever.”

Seb chuckled. Elliot grinned at him. “We all said that, brother. I bet within a year, you’ll be falling for someone.”

Remi held his hand out, a cocky brow arched. “Deal. Hundred?”

“Make it two,” Elliot smirked, shaking his hand.

I shook my head, silently laughing to myself. I had a feeling Remi was about to be out two hundred dollars.

Epilogue

Lennox

“And now, let’s fall into child’s pose,” I instructed, following the small group down into the pose. I was just stretching my arms out in front of me when I heard the door jingle. “Hold that pose for sixty seconds,” I commanded as I stood to my feet. Turning, a smile lit up my features at the sight of my man.

Harlan’s charges had been dropped, as well as mine. After Harlan talked me into pressing charges against Tyler, Tyler dropped his against us to make me drop mine. He was still running free, but last I’d seen, he no longer lived in that house. Rumor was, he’d moved two counties over.

I had a feeling my man was the reason for his sudden move. But I didn’t dare ask. There was some bliss to be had in ignorance.

Harlan grinned at me and held up a small, black gift bag. “Happy birthday, doll.”

I’d still been asleep when he left for work this morning since I didn’t have to be in until eight this morning. I figured I would see him this evening when he got off work, but this was definitely a pleasant surprise.

“Hey,” I greeted, crossing the few feet between us. Leaning up on my tiptoes, I pressed my lips to his. “How’d you manage to sneak away from work?”

He chuckled. “Adler let me off early.” He nodded at Mikayla, who had just emerged from her office. “I’m stealing her.”

Mikayla waved him off and toed off her shoes before taking my place on my yoga mat. “She’s all yours.” She winked at me. “Happy birthday, Lennox.”

The small number of my people in my yoga class leaned up and waved at me, breaking their poses. “Happy birthday!” they called, making my cheeks warm.

“Thanks, guys.” I grabbed Harlan’s hand in mine after waving at everyone. “Since you’re kidnapping me from work,” I said as he led me to the gym doors, “what are we doing today?”

He stopped me in front of the doors and handed me the small, black bag. I took it from him and peered inside, frowning in confusion at the set of keys. Reaching in, I pulled them out. He grabbed the bag from me and chucked it into the trashcan by the door before taking my hand once more and leading me outside.

Seb and Remi were unloading a brand-new Ducati from the back of Harlan’s truck. I choked on my breath, my eyes almost bugging out of my head. “Harlan?” I squeaked, my hand tightening around his. I was pretty sure I was cutting off his circulation.
