Once he was fully upright, both his hands clinging to the pole and his body leaning against it, I saw him look down at the bed. I couldn’t figure out what the look meant until he shifted his gaze to his underwear and legs.

He wanted the sheet so he could cover his legs.

In that moment, I wanted to give it to him more than I wanted my next breath, but I knew the bedding was too big and bulky and would only hinder his efforts to move. If the young man would just let his stubborn fucking pride go for a few seconds, I could’ve easily lifted him and carried him to his bed.

I could at least have reminded him that I’d already seen almost every inch of his body, but I kept the comment to myself. Instead, I said, “Take it slow. If you feel dizzy—”

With one shaky hand, he waved my words away as if they were nothing but annoying little gnats.

He didn’t take it slow, nor did he look at me once as he took three tiny steps forward before letting out a little whimper as every part of his body protested the moves and let him know in the unkindest of ways. I quickly maneuvered my left arm around his waist as his knees gave out and he released his viselike grip on the IV pole.

Theo let out a small cry as his body pressed against mine. I wasn’t sure if it was a cry of relief or disappointment.

Or worse, pain.

“Does anything hurt?” I immediately asked as I tried to soften my grip on him but still keep him upright. I automatically began moving him back toward the bed.

“No!” he cried as he tried to step forward again. “Lincoln, no,” he whispered desperately.

I paused in my actions and glanced down at him. To my surprise, he was gazing at me. He slowly turned to look at the bathroom. “I need to… I need…” was all he could get out before his cheeks became flushed with pink.

Jesus fucking Christ, Lincoln.

I wanted to kick myself for my idiocy.

He needed to go to the bathroom.

Because he’d been pumped full of liquid during all the time he’d slept.

“Okay, hang on,” I said as I reached my other arm down and wrapped it around his knees. God, the young man couldn’t have weighed more than a hundred pounds.

“No, I want to—”

“Walk. I know,” I responded as I shifted him. “Next time. Grab the IV pole,” I ordered.

To my surprise, Theo did as I said.

Within seconds we were in front of the toilet. I used my foot to lift the lid before settling Theo on the seat. I didn’t give him time to protest as I snagged a nearby bath towel and draped it over his lap.

“Can you get your underwear free?” I asked.

Theo nodded but when he struggled to get his arms to even respond to his brain’s demand, I quickly said, “Hold on to the towel.” I didn’t give him much time to respond to the command as I wrapped one arm around him and lifted his body enough that the hand on my other arm could work the fabric away from Theo’s body. Since the towel didn’t go anywhere, I could only assume he had heeded my warning to hang on to it. As I settled him back down, Theo’s hand disappeared under the covering for a moment. I caught the towel so it would stay in place. The sound of urine hitting the water in the toilet was like music to my ears.

At some point during the shifting of things, Theo’s arms had come to rest on my shoulders while I held the towel. As the stream went on and on, Theo’s eyes closed and all his muscles went lax. I managed to hold him on the toilet even as his head fell forward and onto my collarbone. I could feel his soft, steady breaths against my neck. If he wasn’t half asleep already, he would be in no time.

“S’good,” I heard and felt him say against my neck since his lips were right there.

“I’m sure it does feel good,” I responded, mainly because I didn’t know what else to say. I’d done this very task for patients hundreds of times, but I’d never had to mentally chastise my cock for responding to a pair of soft lips against my neck.

“No, no,” Theo said with annoyance as his head feebly moved against my shoulder. “You,” he continued, his words drifting off into a whisper. “S’nell.”

I had no idea what he was trying to say but I wanted to beg him to stop because with every stroke of his lips against that spot where my shoulder met my neck, my body was beginning to respond all over instead of just my unruly cock.
