Her body trembles so hard it shakes right through me. She’s so close I can feel it. And seconds later, she comes undone, losing all control, and there’s nothing more beautiful than watching Harley let go. Once her body stops shaking, she leans her head back on a stack of pillows, her blonde hair a sweaty, tangled mess.
“Wow,” Harley breathes. “That was…”
I climb on top of her, parting her thighs with my knee. “I need to be inside you.”
Because it’s Harley, I still look to her for permission. I need to hear her say it.
She spreads her thighs wider in answer. I stare in awe of the sight of her gorgeous body, watching her as she massages her nipple with her thumb. In a hurry, I strip off my boxers and Harley wraps her legs around my back, pressing her heels into my ass.
“Are you still on the pill?”
She nods.
“I want to come inside you,” I whisper against her lips.
Harley reaches between us, fisting my shaft as she guides me inside her. Chills roll down my arms as I push through her barriers. She’s so wet and warm, her juices coating my cock as I slide in and out of her. Not a single fantasy of mine has done her justice. There’s no comparison to the real Harley.
“Harley,” I groan. “Fuck, baby, you feel so damn good.”
An intense sensation rushes through my body, and my eyes slam shut. I’ve never loved another woman. Harley was always at the center of every fantasy, and the one person who had control of my heart. She never knew it. Never bothered to hang around long enough to find out how much she meant to me. But this is our fresh start. The marriage wasn’t planned or what either of us wanted, but fate has a funny way of sneaking up on us.
I stifle Harley’s moans with my mouth. Our tongues collide, each kiss perfectly timed with the movement of our bodies. Working in unison, our thrusts match each other’s. Our hearts and bodies are beating as one. We kiss until we both unravel at the seams. And by the time we’re sweaty and curled up in each other’s arms, we fall back to sleep.
Hours later, after we’ve had long, hot showers and heaping plates of food in our bellies, we head down to the beach, where we relax in the cabana I reserved for us. Harley sips from the margarita in her hand, looking so damn sexy in a mint green bikini. The spaghetti straps barely keep the thin fabric on her body, and from the second I saw her in it, I couldn’t stop thinking about taking it off her.
Harley wanted to capture today with her art, so she brought her sketchpad and charcoals to the beach with us. She leans back in the lounge chair next to mine, her legs bent, resting the pad on her thighs. We sit in silence, listening to the waves crash against the sand. Children are laughing and playing in the distance. A few brave people are snorkeling around the rocks fifty feet from the beach.
I roll onto my side and watch Harley as she rubs the charcoal into the paper with her finger. Her movements are effortless. Harley looks so free and beautiful, not a care in the world as she lifts her head to capture the waves in all of their glory. Even in black and white, she makes her images come to life. I have never met anyone as talented as Harley, and I have worked with a lot of artists over the years.
Harley glances over at me from behind her oval sunglasses as if she senses me staring at her. She holds my gaze for a few seconds, the charcoal cradled between her fingers, some of it on her skin. “What are you thinking about?”
“You,” I say without hesitation.
Always you.
She chuckles, dropping the charcoal and sketchpad onto the chair so she can take another sip of her drink. “You’re a cute liar.”
“I’m not lying,” I shoot back.
Though, I have been lying about one thing you won’t like.
“You occupy most of my waking thoughts.”
Wow, I actually said that aloud.
Her chest rises and falls as she looks at me with an unreadable expression on her face. We sit in awkward silence for a while before Harley finally speaks again.
“Is this real for you, Nate?” Harley sets her drink on the cabana table between us. “Because it is for me. And I just… I guess I need to know if this relationship is one-sided and only about sex, or if you see something more in our future.”
I sit up so we’re facing each other, my feet digging into the soft sand, and take both of her hands in mine. “Harley, this is real. I’ve never been more real with anyone else in my life.”
