Even though it had seemed like he hadn’t minded in the heat of the moment, I was relieved to hear that he didn’t see my inexperience in a bad light. Being a virgin at twenty-one was awkward, and I wouldn’t have been surprised if it had made Grady pull back from me. Instead, it had seemed to spur him on.

“Me too since you made my deflowering so perfect.”

“Deflowering,” he echoed with a deep chuckle, shaking his head. “Your teacher side is showing, gorgeous.”

It was difficult to adopt a prim and proper expression when you were naked in bed with a sex god, but I did my best. “Are you expecting a grade for your performance?”

“Only if it’s an A.” His palm slid down to cup my pussy. “We both know I earned it.”

“Not just an A, an A plus,” I corrected, wagging my brows. “That fifth orgasm gave you all the extra credit points.”

“Only the fifth?”

I shrugged and pointed out, “Hey, I’m not an expert about how many to expect.”

“As many as you want,” he murmured, his thumb brushing over my clit.

I was starting to reconsider if I was ready to have him inside me again when my stomach let out a loud growl, making me laugh as my cheeks filled with heat. Our lunch had been hours ago, and we’d burned off a lot of calories in bed. So I wasn’t surprised that I was hungry. Just a little embarrassed by how unsexy the gurgling noises were.

Grady lifted his hand to pat my belly. “Saved by the bell.”

“Hardly a bell,” I muttered as he lifted me off the bed.

The last thing I wanted to do was put my still-damp panties back on, but no way was I going commando in my jeans. But I felt better when Grady tugged a flannel shirt that smelled of him over my head, rolling up the sleeves so they didn’t dangle past my wrists.

He grinned at his handiwork before leading me down to the kitchen. I was surprised by the amount and variety of food in the fridge. “Wow, we could make just about anything.”

“Yeah, things have changed around here since our prez and VP claimed their old ladies.” Grady pressed his chest against my back as we peered into the fridge. “It used to have more of a bachelor vibe when most of us were single. But now Molly and Dahlia help Sheila keep us stocked up on some healthier options, especially since we always seem to have kids or a pregnant woman or two hanging around.”

I might’ve been clueless about how motorcycle clubs worked, but even I knew the way the Iron Rogues seemed to revolve around their women wasn’t normal. It was very much appreciated because it helped me feel comfortable while we were here, which gave me the courage to show off one of my skills—in the kitchen.

“How about I whip up some chicken stir-fry? If you help chop, it won’t take long to make.”

“Sounds great to me,” he agreed, pulling several packages of boneless chicken breasts out.

“That is a lot of food.”

He grabbed a cutting board and knife with a nod. “If you cook, they will come.”

His edited movie reference made me laugh. As I took out a bunch of vegetables to include in the stir-fry, I murmured, “Thanks for the warning.”

Grady was proven true about thirty minutes later when a few of the guys wandered into the kitchen just as I was dishing food onto plates for us.

“Help yourselves,” I offered. “We made plenty.”

“You can cook?” Maverick asked Grady. “Don’t think I’ve ever seen you do anything in the kitchen except eat.”

“Alice did all the hard work,” Grady explained. “I just chopped shit for her.”

“Hey, Little Payne,” Pain greeted me with a grin as he grabbed a plate.

“Flirt with my woman again, and you’re gonna learn the true meaning of your road name,” Grady warned, glaring at his club brother.

Pain lifted his hands in a gesture of surrender, shaking his head with a laugh. “Just yanking your chain, man.”

Fox slapped him on the back of his head. “One would think that you had already learned not to push the buttons of one of your club brothers when it comes to their woman.”

Pain shrugged. “Maybe I just like to live dangerously.”

“More like you often need to learn the hard way,” Fox muttered. “If I didn’t know better, I would’ve guessed you earned your road name because you’re such a royal pain in the ass.”

I laughed at their back-and-forth, drawing attention to me. Pain flashed Grady a mischievous grin before he asked me, “Speaking of road names, have you heard the story about Deviant’s?”

Blushing, I shook my head. “Um…no.” But after some of the things he’d done to me in bed, I could make a good guess.

“It’s nothing like that, gorgeous,” Grady whispered in my ear. “I’ve always been damn good with computers, including getting access to shit I shouldn’t have been looking at online when I was only a kid. Something my mom loves to share way too much, so it stuck with me.”
