Though maybe we could talk about it later, whispered a hopeful little voice in his head. We’ve gotten so close here—I want her and it seems like she wants me. Maybe we could be bonded and share our lives. Maybe she could accept what being bonded to a Drake Monstrum means.

His hopes were stirred by the fact that Iyanna hadn’t seemed horrified at the sight of the pleasure slave becoming instantly and visibly pregnant. She had been watching with wide eyes, especially when the Lix’dorian female’s outfit had split open, revealing her pregnant belly, but she hadn’t expressed disgust or fright. Dra’vik knew, because he had been watching her sharply to see her reaction.

But all of that was something to worry about in the future. For right now, they needed to find the damn plants and get off this Goddess-forsaken planet!

“Where are they?” he demanded of Minister Ostensio. “We need to find them now!”

Just at that moment, Baronet Sin’estor came up to them. Leaning down, he murmured something in Ostensio’s ear.

“Yes. Yes, of course!” The little Minister nodded earnestly. Then he raised his voice and began to shout, “This concludes this year’s annual Botany banquet. Thank you all for coming and now, will everyone please clear the banquet hall!”

“What do you mean, clear the hall?” Dra’vik growled, as the various guests and their females all began to leave. To his right, he could see the heavily pregnant pleasure slave who had been taken by almost every male in the room during the “breeding party” leaning on the arm of her Master. Hopefully at least one of the babies in her belly was his, Dra’vik thought dryly.

“Clear the hall! Clear the hall, please!” Ostensio kept calling, ignoring Dra’vik’s question in an extremely irritating way.

At last everyone was gone—even the servants—and only Dra’vik, Iyanna, Ostensio, and Baronet Sin’estor were left.

“Why did you let everyone leave? Someone might have known what happened to the plants,” Dra’vik growled.

“You do not have to worry about your precious plants, Sir Dra’vik,” Baronet Sin’estor purred, his thin lips lifting into an orange grin Dra’vik didn’t like one damn bit. “Come with me and I believe I can assuage your anxiety.”

Dra’vik didn’t like the sound of this, but he felt they had little choice but to follow the Lix’dorian male. Baronet Sin’estor led them to the end of the vast banquet hall, where a dark blue and silver curtain was hanging.

“Through here,” he said, and beckoned to them before ducking behind the curtain. Ostensio followed him, leaving Dra’vik alone with Iyanna in the main part of the ballroom.

“Look, little girl, I think it’s better if you stay here,” he said to her. “Who knows what the hell he’s got back there?”

But Iyanna shook her head.

“No…I can’t stay here! You can’t leave me!” she protested. She was still rubbing her bare breasts against his side and her pupils were widely dilated—clearly the damn drugged mush was still working on her. Fucking Lix’dorians!

“Iyanna, it might be dangerous back there,” he protested. “Just stay here a minute and let me check it out.”

“No!” She was panting now, showing signs of distress. “No, please—I don’t care about the plants anymore, Dra’vik. I just need you to fuck me—to breed me!” she begged.

“Gods…” Dra’vik groaned, shaking his head. Even in the middle of a potentially dangerous situation, the way she was begging and rubbing against him was making him hard. His shaft was straining against the tight confines of his leather trousers and he longed to lay her down right here on the floor and taste her sweet pussy before putting her on her hands and knees for a long, leisurely breeding session.

But he knew he couldn’t do that. Nor, apparently, could he leave her behind.

“Come on,” he growled, putting his arm around her shoulders. “Just stay with me and if there’s any problems, duck behind me—okay?”

He didn’t know if she was hearing and understanding him or not but he couldn’t wait any longer. Ducking around the blue and silver curtain and wishing he had a weapon, he found himself at the base of some steps.

The steps curved upwards and he saw what the curtain had been hiding—a large wooden stage.

“Do come up, my dear Dra’vik.” Baronet Sin’estor’s oily voice called.

Looking up, Dra’vik saw that the Baronet and Minister Ostensio were already standing on the stage. Beside them was a glass box identical to the empty one that had been unveiled at the end of the banquet. Only this box had something in it.

The pleasure plants!

Dra’vik’s heart started beating harder. Quickly, he scooped Iyanna into his arms and ran up the steps, eager to get the damn foliage and get the Seven Hells out of here.

“Hey!” she protested belatedly, as he set her on her feet. “What did you do that for?”

“Just want to get this finished and get the fuck outta here, little girl,” Dra’vik told her. He turned to Baronet Sin’estor and Ostensio. “So you had the plants up here all along. Why the deception? Why not just give them to us at the end of the banquet so we could leave?”
