I used to hate these boys for making me submit, but now I crave it more than anything.

The release that comes after the fall is unparalleled.

I sink to the floor, completely wasted on ecstasy, but goddamn, it was worth every second.

When I look up, Milo kneels in front of me. He cups my face and presses a kiss to my lips, and I can taste his salty cum.

“You’re my fucking goddess, you know that?” he murmurs.

I smile. “You already said that.”

“How many times do you want me to say it? A hundred? A million?” He presses another sweet kiss to the side of my lips that has me flying that high. “Because I’ll do it.”

“Every day?” I reply.

He grins against my lips. “Every day it is then, my goddess.”

Kai and Nathan untie the ropes that bind me, and Nathan lifts me from the floor, carrying me back to his bed. “What are you doing?”

“You think I only hang and whip people or something?” he jests with a grin. “Aftercare is important too.”

“Aftercare?” I joke back as he places me down in the middle of his bed. “Really?”

“He may be a sadist, but he’s not a complete savage,” Milo muses while he grabs a bottle of lotion off a shelf.

“Hey, watch your mouth,” Nathan warns.

Milo throws him the bottle, and both Kai and Nathan lie down beside me.

“But what about the dead body?” I ask.

“We’ll get some of the guys to get rid of it later,” Kai says. “At our usual spot.”

“Usual spot?” I joke.

“Yeah, there’s a whole graveyard in the city down below, remember?” Nathan says.

Nathan opens the bottle and rubs my wrists with the warm gel while Kai rubs it into my thighs, casually brushing past my pussy every once in a while to remind me of how good it feels. And the added smirk definitely doesn’t help to keep me from feeling all hot inside.

“There,” Nathan murmurs as he puts the bottle on his nightstand.

Kai pulls me toward him, wrapping me in his arms like he wants to protect me from something. Nathan rolls up behind me and wraps his arm around my waist, spooning me. And I’ve never felt safer or more cocooned than I do now.

Almost enough to make me want to fall into a deep, soothing sleep.

Suddenly, Milo clears his throat as he stands at the edge of the bed, pouting.

Nathan grumbles, “Fine, come here.”

Milo grins and crawls up the bed between Nathan and I, almost smothering me as I’m pushed farther into Kai’s muscular chest while Milo wriggles in. But when he wraps his arm around me too, my heart practically explodes.

Is this what it’s supposed to feel like?

Is this why Felix and his friends couldn’t stay away from Penelope?

Am I falling for these boys?

I swallow, feeling like the lump that was stuck in my throat came straight from my clogged-up heart.

“Milo …” Kai grumbles with his eyes closed.

“Yes?”

“Take your hand off my dick.”

I snort when I see Milo’s hand move sneakily.

“I thought … after you started commandeering me around, you—”

“I know,” Kai responds, his eyes still closed, but brows furrowed. “We’re close. But not that close.”

I bite my lip, laughing a little. “Yet.”

Kai opens his good eye and stares down at me with judgment, and it makes me giggle. “What?”

Even Nathan chuckles.

He sighs out loud. “Good night, my little violent kitty.”

I used to hate that word.

Kitty.

It reminded me of being a weak, helpless little furry pet.

But now, when he says that word, it makes me want to purr.

LANA

Days later

After everything that went down inside the Phantom Society building, Nathan decided it would be a good idea to bring Rory back to her aunt, just for safety reasons. I agreed and helped him drive her back. He could’ve done it by himself, but the emotional toll it took on him was too much, so I hugged him tight and drove us back after we dropped her off.

But my first class is starting soon, so I can’t dwell on difficult decisions. Even though I know Ro’s home is a temporary one and we’ll need to find a permanent solution.

I grab my bag off the table and open the front door of the sorority building, but I come to a full stop the second I lay eyes on all three boys standing outside with a wide smile on their faces.

“Um, what’s going on here?” I ask.

“Starting your first class for the day?” Kai asks.

“Yeah …” I reply with furrowed brows. “How’d you know?”

“I keep track of your class schedule,” he says like it’s the most normal thing on earth.

“Hey, Lana!” Milo says with a cheery voice, waving at me from behind both of them.

“Hey, you’re here,” I mutter. “You feeling better yet?”

“Yeah, the stitches don’t hurt as much anymore, and the wound is healing quite nicely,” he replies with a big smile. “So I figured, why not go to school?”
