“Stay with me,” Meridian whispered, gazing down at him.

Ex had been so consumed in his head that he hadn’t realized Meridian was forcing himself free from his confinement and hungrily working his way down his lower body. His hot mouth blazed a path across his stomach, causing him to tremble with anticipation. He wasn’t prepared for the pleasure that exploded through him as Meridian closed his soft lips around his head and sucked him into his mouth.

“Unngh,” Ex groaned as he fisted the crumpled sheets that already smelled of their sex.

His partner didn’t do anything without precision and skill, and this was no fucking different. Ex’s shoulders came off the mattress when the head of his dick touched the back of Meridian’s throat. His partner held him there, suspended in midair for too long before he pulled off. Meridian’s dark eyes met his as he tongued his slit, and Ex immediately felt his balls draw up until they were almost inside him. He shook his head, trying his best to convey his dilemma when actual words failed him. He wasn’t going to last much longer.

Meridian’s lashes lowered as if he’d understood him and he swallowed Ex whole, making him cry out his name. Meridian had both his strong arms around his hips, pushing him farther into his mouth, and Ex knew his orgasm was about to blow his mind. He just hoped he didn’t embarrass himself again like he did last night and pass out from sensory overload.

“Marshall,” Ex gasped. He drove his hand into Meridian’s hair, loving how soft it was, and how good it smelled. He moaned like a porn star at the first wave of his release shooting down his partner’s throat.

He didn’t loosen his grip until Meridian eased him out of his mouth. Not until every drop he had was milked from him. He was breathing so hard he thought he’d never calm down. Meridian licked over his head one last time, then placed a tender kiss on the inside of his thigh.

Ex was sated, feeling boneless as he fell back towards the mattress. Meridian shot his hand out and caught him behind his neck and slowly brought him back to him. Meridian rose to his knees, towering over him with one hand controlling him and the other on his thick shaft.

Ex braced both hands behind him on the mattress, his back arched, and his neck exposed. The bed shook as Meridian jerked himself. He was getting off on Ex being in this position, and to be honest, so was he. His dick was valiantly trying to beg for more attention as it spasmed between his damp thighs.

Meridian’s breathing got louder and his grip tightened on his throat, making Ex open his eyes, knowing he didn’t want to miss this. He licked his lips, winded at the slight air restriction, his chest pumping as fast as Meridian was fisting himself. His dick was half hard now, and he couldn’t stop his hand from shaking when he reached out to touch him.

Meridian’s orgasm seemed to almost take him by surprise. His partner was usually so deliberate and composed, but right then he was looking at Meridian, untamed. His cover all the way down—for him. His dark hair had fallen around his face as he bowed his head and groaned Ex’s name.

Meridian jolted over him and the first shot of his hot seed hit Ex just over his heart, almost rocking him backwards. He pushed his chest out, wanting more, wanting all of that slick warmth on him as he rubbed it into his skin as if it was massage oil.

Meridian never stopped watching him, and when Ex absently licked what was left of Meridian off his fingers, his partner swayed as if he couldn’t stay upright any longer. Meridian let go of his throat when he needed his other hand to catch himself as he fell to the mattress.

Only this time, Ex was there to catch him.

“Where exactly is the kid now?” the Chief of Police asked, sitting at the head of their large conference table.

God sat next to his captain with Day at his side. The rest of the table was filled with his team and the special prosecutor the chief had brought in from Fayetteville. Their meeting was confidential, and God knew it was imperative that it stayed that way. However, anytime the chief made an appearance it was bound to draw attention.

Ever since God had been given that information by his unwanted visitors, he’d been going through past cases, and seeing them in a new light. There was definitely some corruption in the department that stretched to the DA’s office, and it was going to take some time for them to uncover it all. But, until they did, they were only trusting who they must.
