The man is chiseled to perfection, and when he presses me against the counter, his strong hands grip my hips and lift me onto the cold surface. The thin white panties I’m wearing quickly soak with arousal when his fingers tease my entrance.

“Dane, please.” The cookies are forgotten when he tugs and rips the thin cotton from my body. With a deep animalistic growl, he pushes my thighs open and buries his head between my legs. The scruff on his jaw scratches against sensitive skin sending tingles through my body.

“So fucking sweet.” Another rumble against my throbbing clit and I’m soaring into a cloud of pleasure that has me gripping the counter painfully. My head drops back and my eyes flutter closed. Suddenly something warm drips onto my bare skin and I snap my gaze to Dane just as his tongue licks the melted chocolate which was supposed to be mixed into the dough for the double chocolate cookies.

Now, he’s topping me with the decadent sweetness. “Your little cunt tastes so good, better than any cookie I’ve ever had.” His tongue darts into my heated core sending me spiraling as he pinches my clit. He knows my body, it’s like he’s studied it and graduated with a fucking A plus.

“Fuck, Dane, shit…” My moans are mixed with the sound of his growl and I’m free-falling. Tumbling without a safety net, and this time, I don’t want to stop. I want to let go and feel. I want to be worshipped and teased. I want to love.

The thought hits me like a fucking punch to the gut. I open my eyes to find his deep teal eyes, they’re bordering more on green as he stares up at me with a glistening smirk. “I want you,” he says quietly, and I know he realized I was panicking.

We’ve been open and honest about what was going on between us, and right now, I feel myself slipping off that edge. That line that we promised not to cross, my stupid girly emotions are racing to the other side and I’m scared. “Baby Doll, look at me.” His commanding tone drags me from the worry, the fear that we’re not going to work out.

“Dane, I—”

“Don’t over think this, Jaz. We’re adults, we fuck, we have fun.” And there it is, the dagger, the bullet to my heart. I press both my hands on his chest and push him away and he lets me. He knows I need space. Once I hop off the counter, I make my way into the guest bathroom and shut the door.

The large mirror reflects my flushed face, my dilated pupils, and my broken heart. I fall quickly. I feel too much, and I let myself want what I can’t have. The man standing in my kitchen with my arousal on his face is here for one thing, to fuck.

We agreed.

I lost the bet.

And now I’m fucked.

When I’ve rinsed my face and pulled my long blonde hair into a bun, I walk back into the kitchen to find it empty and my stomach drops. He’s gone. I didn’t expect a long term arrangement, it happened so suddenly that I didn’t have time to think things through and now I’m staring at crusted cookie dough.

“You okay?” A voice behind me startles me and I jump into a solid wall. Spinning around, I find Dane’s eyes and they’ve changed color again, hinting to the deep blues that twinkle when he’s up to no good. And as I stare at him I find amusement dancing across his face.

“You’re a naughty little star aren’t you?” he growls, gripping my hips, his fingers digging in. “You will never run away from me. Do you understand me? You’re angry? Then talk. You feel sad? Then cry. You want to slap me? Then do it, but don’t doubt that if you ever run from me, I’ll spank that tiny ass of yours until my handprint is glowing bright red on your creamy skin. You get me?”

My mouth falls open and I’m not sure what to say. It’s the most infuriating thing I’ve ever heard a man say to me, but at the same time, I’m ready for him to bend me over and fuck me into oblivion.

The buzzer of the main gate to the property disturbs us before I can answer. “Don’t you dare walk away before you agree.” I stare into those pools that hold emotion that stifles me. We both want this.

“Yes, Dane. I get you.” I lean up on my tiptoes and plant a kiss on his cheek. The buzzer goes again and I groan. “I have to get that, though.” I turn and his hand comes down on my ass, eliciting a yelp from me. Pushing the intercom, I answer. “Hello?”

“Jazzy bear! Open the damn gate.” Rolling my eyes, I realize that more people will find out about Dane and I because my on-screen sister is about to come face to face with the man I’ve been telling her about.
