I shake my head. “He didn’t. The club manager at the last show complained about me, and that led Chase to call around to the other venues for feedback.”

Colin pauses mid-sip, lowering his coffee mug, while raising his eyebrows. “Complained about you?”

Again, I shake my head, this time with disgust. “The jerk propositioned me during the show. He probably got mad when I turned him down and thought filing a complaint would be a fun way to get back at me.”

“That motherfucker—” Zane mutters.

“I had no idea how much shit women have to deal with,” Jordan says.

“Now I want to go back on tour, so we can go back to that club, and I can bash his face in,” Owen says with an intensity that no longer surprises me, especially after how he was in bed last night.

“Maybe you can go back,” I say, getting up to take my plate to the sink. “I’m going to get your jobs back today.”

Zane shakes his head.

“Don’t argue. I am. I have another meeting with Chase, and I’m going to make him listen to reason.”

Zane reaches for my hand, a relaxed grin on his face. “We had a meeting with Chase yesterday, right before we came over here.”

“After I met with him?”

He nods.

“I wondered why it took you so long to come over. What did he say?” The others are smiling too, so it must have gone well. “Did you get your jobs back?”

Zane and Jordan shake their heads, and I’m confused.

“We told him we couldn’t work with you anymore because we’re in love with you,” Zane says.

“We told him we were sorry, but it wouldn’t be possible for us to work with you and keep our hands off of you. We would be physically unable to follow the rules,” Jordan says.

“You didn’t actually say that,” I say. “Tell me what you said.”

Owen nods once. “We did, and Chase said he understood, because he feels the same way about Jade.”

“Wait a minute. Back up. You said you’re in love with me?”

“We did, and we are,” Zane says.

“Absolutely,” Colin says, cupping my face in his hand and giving me a long kiss.

“We’re all in love with you, Brittany,” Owen says, tightening the arm that’s wrapped around my waist.

Jordan moves in close and presses his lips to mine. When we part, he says, “We want you to be ours, and only ours, because we don’t want anybody but you.”

My heart is beating double-time in a fluttery rhythm. “But … but last night you were joking about love,” I say, looking at Colin. “You said you weren’t and you needed time, which made sense.”

He grins, a guilty look on his face. “Yeah, that slipped out and I had to backpedal, because I didn’t want you to freak out.”

I’m in a daze as the reality of what they’re saying sinks in, and they all watch me, letting me process it. “Me, freak out?” I say finally. “You must have me confused with someone else.”

A laugh bursts out of Jordan, a wonderful sound. “Yeah, that doesn’t sound like you at all, Britt.”

“But you can’t be in love with me. We’ve known each other for like ten days. It’s too soon.”

“When you know, you know,” Zane says.

“It was an intense ten days,” Colin says. “The four of us guys have all gotten really close, too.”

It’s true. I hadn’t really thought about it, but of course, the men have become a lot closer to each other. They work together so well on stage — when their heads are in the right place — and they work so well together when they’re in bed with me. Last night proved that in the most amazing and memorable way.

As I look around at them, the love I feel for each of them swells in my chest, so much so that I can’t keep it to myself.

“Yesterday, I wouldn’t have thought you’d be able to pry this out of me with force, but I have to confess that I’m falling for all of you, too. Much as I tried to resist it or deny it, you’ve all gotten under my skin.”

“Like a rash?” Jordan teases as he wraps me in his arms, giving me another kiss.

“Yes, an itchy, irritating, tormenting rash that I never want to clear up,” I tell him.

“This is getting gross,” Owen says, pulling me from Jordan’s arms back into his, “but I’m glad we’ve worked our way into your heart.”

Colin comes over and steps up behind me, his hand sliding around my middle. “Now let’s work our way back into your panties.”

“That sounds perfect, but first you need to tell me about the rest of your meeting. Are you going to dance at Club Red again instead of going on tour?”

Zane is the last to surround me, and the others graciously make room. “We don’t need our jobs there because my business loan has been approved.”
