I shake my head on Dom’s chest and tell him, “Too much.”

Caleb pauses and then kisses my shoulder. “Try again?” he questions and I can only nod, my head laying weakly against Dom’s chest. I want them both. At the same time. Even if it is too much.

He’s gentle and slow, encouraging me to take all of him. All the while, Dom nips and kisses every inch of my skin he has access to.

He holds my hips steady and kisses me with a tenderness that soothes my nerves. My body shakes and a cold sweat covers my body as they move, first Dom and then Caleb, in and out of my body. I tremble as another wave of heated numbness overtakes my body, starting at my toes and building in the pit of my stomach. Caleb’s fingers rub my clit and his other hand pinches and pulls roughly at my nipples. Their pace speeds up as I pulse and come brutally from their unrelenting touch. My hands fist in the sheets, my body tensing.

Wave after wave of intense pleasure hits me, each greater than the last as they continue to use my body, claiming it as theirs, thrusting ruthlessly, taking their pleasure from me. It feels like an endless orgasm shocking my numb body over and over again. Time loses all meaning as my orgasms flow together. At last they finally find their release, each buried to the hilt inside of me. I drift off as they each kiss me, their touch warm on my lips, my neck and my shoulders, whispering soft words of love and devotion.

I can’t help but to compliment her. “Your car is really nice.”

In reality, I fucking love Veronica’s car. It’s an Aston Martin. Holy shit, I’m riding in an Aston Martin. I’m freaking the hell out! But not on the surface. Nope. Staying cool and calm and collected. Even though she can probably hear my heart racing with excitement.

“I fucking love your car!” Lizzie offers no pretense, bursting at the seams with excitement. It’s the first time I’ve seen her genuinely smile since we got here. Her schoolgirl level of enthusiasm makes my lips kick up into a grin. It’s contagious. The two of us are in the back with Vince riding shotgun. And of course Veronica’s driving. My fingers run along the expensive leather and I take in every little detail.

She’s loaded. Is every shifter dripping in wealth?

Her gaze meets mine in the rearview.

“It’s pretty fucking awesome.” I cave. At least I’m not drooling.

Veronica gives us a small, knowing smirk and says, “It’s a guilty pleasure.” Her eyebrows raise as Lizzie sucks on her drink. “Don’t you dare spill that in my car.”

Lizzie shrinks back slightly but doesn’t lose her smile. “I won’t, Veronica.” She drawls out her name and adds, “Can I call you V?”

“V?” The smooth skin on her forehead pinches.

“Yeah. V for vampire and Veronica.” Lizzie’s simple explanation has Veronica grinning broadly with those damn fangs on full display. I suppress my shiver and keep telling myself it’s just fine she’s a vampire. As Devin insisted this morning, she’s part of our pack now.

“Call me whatever you want, little wolf.” She slaps at Vince’s hand as he tries to change the station on the radio. Her admonishment earns her a wolfish grin from her mate.

Lizzie starts mouthing the words to the song before going back to her favorite pastime: sucking down her iced coffee. I desperately need to talk to her in private, but I just can’t wait any longer.

“You seem happier now than you were earlier.” She takes another sip and nods.

“I’m feeling a lot better.” She looks toward the front seat at Vince before making eye contact again. “It’s just a lot to happen at once.” Her words are soft, but the twinkle in her eyes is still present.

“So you’re a werewolf?” It’s odd that I still think of her as the same Lizzie. My bubbly partner in crime, yet there’s a side of her I didn’t know existed.

“Sort of.” She twists the hem of her shirt between her fingers. She keeps her voice low, and thankfully Vince and Veronica don’t pry although I’m sure they can hear. “I’ve never shifted or been a part of a pack that I can remember.” She breathes in deep while her lips pull down. “What I do remember I’d rather forget.”

“I can’t believe you never told me.” I take her hand in mine.

She shakes her head and squeezes my hand tight. “I never would have. I’ve never thought of myself as a wolf.” She squirms uncomfortably in her seat and glances at Vince again before adding, “I felt her, though.” Her eyes light up and she holds back her smile. “It’s been years, way before I met you. But she’s back.”

“How do you feel her?” It’s shocking; exhilarating. All of it is overwhelming and I can’t help but to want more. “I want to understand.”
