Mike draped his arm across Leo’s shoulders with a sigh. “No. Don’t like the idea of others defining who I am. It helps that I can beat the stubborn ones to a pulp. Even this,” he said, showing Leo the varnish, “is Arden taking care of me. I personally can’t see what you see in all that hair and muscle, but Zolt is a good guy at heart. And he’s changed for the better since you two got together. But you never touch him in public. Is it because he doesn’t like it?”
Leo tensed under the touch, but didn’t shrug off Mike’s arm. “No, I… I’m not like you. I don’t like the attention, people staring at me and judging. Making comments.” The last line was delivered with a glare.
“I know, I know, I’ll be better, okay?” Mike said, raising his hands. “And me beating people into a pulp extends to those who make comments at you from now on. That shit’s not on. Just look at Arden. That boy’s fearless, but I think the more you put yourself out there, the less it must hurt when someone doesn’t accept you. He doesn’t give a fuck, and I love how bold that is. He’ll be himself even if that means judgement from others.”
"Thanks, Mike. I really appreciate it. It's gonna be important for my daughters to have an uncle like you growing up.” Leo clinked their bottles.
Mike blinked. “That’s the first time anyone’s told me a girl’s lucky to be around me.”
“Well, I know you don’t want kids, but I’ve got no doubt you’ll be their lion and spot all the horny hyenas circling my girls in fifteen years. You know all their tricks.” Leo laughed and waved at Zolt when his husband gestured for him to come over.
“Maybe you should learn a trick or two from Arden?” Mike asked, gently nudging Leo forward, to their partners who chatted over drinks, as different as night and day.
Leo smirked as they approached. “Hey, Arden? Mike’s saying I should get knives for my daughters like the one you have. Sure won’t hurt to teach them early.” He seemed hesitant about something, but then slid his arm around Zolt’s waist.
Zolt stilled, his mouth going slack with surprise only to stretch into a smile. He placed his beefy arm on Leo’s shoulders and pulled him close. “Appropriate size for their tiny toddler hands.”
Mike shook his head, grinning, and placed his hands on Arden’s waist, standing right behind his jasmine-scented self.
Arden pushed back into him, as if he couldn’t wait to get closer. “A sparkly diamante-studded knife will go well with a tiara. Speaking of crystals… Wanna show you something, Mike. Talk to you guys later.” He turned and pulled on Mike’s hand with an eyebrow wiggle. His makeup was especially flamboyant tonight, with silver glitter on his temples and fake lashes for days.
He was prettier than the bride and all the other bridesmaids combined, though Mike sure wouldn’t be mentioning that to Axel, who at this point was feeding his new wife grapes as if she were a Roman empress.
“Show me something?” Mike asked, slotting his fingers between Arden’s as they made their way through the crowd of guests and along the wall of the workshop. He finished his beer and tossed it onto a trash can on the way, but his gaze focused on Arden’s neck, exposed by his classy updo dotted with stars and flowers.
Arden winked at him and pointed to the back of a shed far away from bright light and people. “Yes, it’s just up there.”
Arden led the way to a ladder left behind after all the decorations had been put up. He swiftly climbed the steps, and Mike was instantly more interested in staring up the long legs clad in stockings than in whatever Arden wanted to reveal.
The boy got to the top and bent forward, giving Mike a show all the way up his frilly skirt. “See how it sparkles?” He giggled.
Mike looked up to the roof, but his attention got drawn right back under Arden’s skirt, and his face flushed when a pink glow lit between Arden’s buttocks at a click of something in his hand. The tulle layers of the skirt turned into the fitting backdrops for one of the most arousing sights of Mike’s life. A LED light was inside a round pink… crystal, illuminating both the fabric and the heart-shaped opening at the back of Arden’s lacy panties.
Mike’s brain was turning liquid. “Is… is that what I think it is?” he asked with a rasp that hurt his throat.
“I don’t know. How dirty is your mind? As filthy as mine? You might want to check.” The boy grinned over his shoulder and pressed some button, switching the light off.
Mike reached up to grab Arden’s hips, his face hot, dick already pushing at the front of his jeans. “How long has it been there?”
