Eat a forbidden apple?

Rob a bank?

Forsake everything and everyone I hold dear?

Kill a man?

All would be done without hesitation with just one fucking word from her pouty lips. Well, what did you think?” I ask, after I finish reading. I love this author so much; I went downloaded all of her other books. I also may or may not have stalked her social media, even though she’s been onset this whole time.

“You have to act that out?” he asks, grinning. I love that he’s so chill. He’s been so supportive; I hope that never changes.

“Well, some of that made it into the script, but yeah.”

“It’s sexy.”

“I know, right. The book is so much more than the movie is going to be.”

“You’re going to be fantastic. And this story is about a pastor and a girl he stalks?”

“Kind of.”

“That’s pretty hot, I have to admit.”

“Are you going to watch?” I ask. I got him credentials to be here since I don’t have the entourage I’m entitled to. This scene is being filmed later tonight.

“I love you too much to watch that,” he says, and I look up from the book at him. He’s looking down at his phone.

“You love me?” I ask, not sure I heard him correctly. His head pops up and he grins. That sexy fucking grin is going to be the death of me.

“Yes, I do. You know that I do.”

“You’ve never said it before.”

“Sure, I have,” he says moving across the room to kneel in front of me.

“No, you’ve never said it,” I whisper.

“I love you, Mary.”

“I love you too, Hudson.”

Then he kisses me, and the book falls away from my hands as I move to wrap myself around his body. Before I know it, he’s got us both naked and he’s inside of me. I don’t want him to stop. I never want him to stop. I scream his name as I come, everything in my body is tight, clenching in ecstasy. He grunts and groans my name over and over until he finally fills me with his seed. Every day since we met, we’ve ended up like this. I want more with him, but I don’t know how to ask for it. To beg for it.

“Marry me, Mary.” His voice is muffled as his head is buried in my chest. He moves to suck on my hard nipple before switching to the other, giving it the same attention.

“What?” I ask, just to be sure I heard him right.

“Marry me,” he repeats, reaching down for his pants. From the pocket, he pulls out a black, velvet ring box.

“Hudson?” I ask as he opens the box.

“Marry me.”

The beautiful diamond is too extravagant. I’ve never seen anything like it, even when the designers lent me stuff fort award shows.

“Yes,” I whisper as he slides the ring onto my finger.

“Thank God,” he groans and kisses me hard.

I’ve never been so happy. Never.

“Thank you,” I say, kissing him again.

“Oh, babe. It’s me who should be thanking you. It’s not every day a man gets to marry his dream girl.” I giggle when he says that. “My parents are meeting us for dinner, an early one, since I know you have an eight o’clock call time.”

“Today?”

“Yes. I can’t wait for you to meet them.”

I don’t even have time to be nervous about meeting them. We pull up to the restaurant at six-thirty for our reservation. John and Susan Grayson loved me. When his mom pulled me into a tight hug, I burst into tears, which led to more hugs. I thought they’d hate me or the idea that I was marrying their son after only two weeks, but I was wrong. They got married in Vegas after only knowing each other for a week back in the eighties.

I can’t believe I am well on my way to having a family now all because of him.

He said that I’m his dream girl, but he’s my dream man. In every way. I love him more than I ever thought was possible.

I’ll be forever grateful that I got on the same flight as him.

Filming was finished in just twenty-four days. Instead of going back to LA before my next commitment, I went back home with Hudson. I’m loving life right now. I’ve got a great career and a man who love me.

What more could I possibly need?

EPILOGUE

HUDSON

THREE MONTHS LATER

I still can’t believe we are here. Getting married on Oak Island seemed like the best thing to do since this is where I told her that I loved her for the first time. Almost as soon as I met her, I had to have her, but it was more than that. It always was. I knew that very first day on the plane, that she’d be my wife. Mary Morris is the very best thing that’s ever happened to me. I can’t wait for our honeymoon to Bali. I still have a couple of months before training camp begins and I plan to use that time very wisely. She’s a vision in white satin in lace. Her dress is high in the front and has no back. Her veil covers most of her skin though. She’s gorgeous and I still can’t believe she’s mine. My teammates and friends think I’m crazy. Getting married after three months seems like such a mistake to them but they don’t know us like we do. They don’t know the love that’s between us. The love that came in flash yet still burns hot as hell.
