I turn, and my heart stops.

Utterly stunned, I can’t move. Can’t breathe. The shock is so profound it takes a second for my mind to catch up with my body.

Standing there, together as a unified front, are Monty, Leo, and Kody. And they’re smiling.

Three grins on three beautiful faces.

They’re smiling and staring at me expectedly, and it’s goddamn contagious.

This isn’t real.

I’m hallucinating.

“Told you.” Letty pushes my jaw closed. “Don’t forget to breathe. Don’t want you passing out.”

She doesn’t know the details of my breakup. She only knows I’ve been sleeping in the on-call room while these three men try to drag me out.

She doesn’t know what this means.

They’re all here. Together.

Shimmery, sunshiny joy bursts through me. The grin on my face stretches so wide it hurts my cheeks. Tears of pure happiness blur my vision, but I don’t care.

All I can do is laugh, and the sound startles me. I cover my mouth.

I can’t believe it. After all this time, all the pain, the setbacks, the nights spent dreaming and hoping—it’s finally happening.

The reality hits me with such force that I stagger back a step, needing a moment to steady myself.

I feel alive, more alive than I’ve ever felt, every sense heightened and vibrant.

This is it.

This is what it feels like to have a dream come true.

“Time to come home.” Monty extends a hand, exuding enough authority to make my knees weak.

His perfectly styled hair, as black as a moonless night, frames his face with that square jawline I love so much. Goosebumps race across my skin as his arctic blue eyes lock onto mine. He’s a fantasy brought to life in his fitted suit.

And he’s waiting for me.

Here goes nothing.

I walk right up to him, bypassing his hand to lift on my tiptoes and press a kiss to his mouth. Chaste and quick. A kiss to test the waters.

He responds, his lips firm and commanding, a promise of things to come.

No growls from the other two.

No bloodshed.

Somebody pinch me.

I step back and move to Leo, spotting my bags on the floor behind him.

“We packed up all your things in the on-call room.” His beautifully unique eyes watch me intently.

Brown-blond braids tie back into a knot, adding a touch of the hills to his otherwise polished appearance. His surly temper is always close to the surface, but now there’s a calm determination in his gaze.

“Do you forgive me?” I ask.

“What do I need to forgive, love?”

“The kiss?” My brows pull together. “At the house? The one you walked in on?”

“You’ll be doing more than kissing him tonight. And every night ever after.”

It’s not just what he says but the dark, sensual way he says it that makes my core clench, and my heart beat faster.

I moisten my lips and whisper, “You got into another fight.”

Faded bruises linger just beneath the skin around his eyes. Those weren’t there when I stitched his head last week.

“Got into a few bar fights. But I’m working on that. Started seeing someone about it.”

“Really?”

“All of us are.” His hand comes up to cup my face, giving me the closeness I’ve missed so desperately. “We’re seeing Dr. Thurber here in town. He’s…kind.”

My nose burns, and I blink rapidly, fighting back tears. “I’ll be with you guys through the process. The four of us together make a damn good support system.”

“I know.”

I kiss him, tasting the fire and earthiness that is so uniquely him.

He pulls away, turning me toward Kody.

My broody lover stares down at me with animal magnetism, his black hair trimmed and finger-combed. His tanned complexion and muscled body have always reminded me of a dark Lycan prince. The way he looks at me is intoxicating, igniting a seductive fire that leaves me breathless, turned on, and a little afraid.

His carnal black eyes, which always hold a hint of sadness, now shine with something else.

Stars.

I throw myself into his arms, instantly enveloped by the scent of wood smoke and berry vodka. As our lips press together, I sink into his rugged tenderness. He’s here, and he’s not letting go.

“Let’s go home.” He lifts me against his chest and pivots toward the exit.

The brute is going to carry me out, and I won’t fight him. I want this closeness. I need it.

Leo and Monty grab my bags and follow us amid an eruption of cheers and whistles. The entire trauma unit gathered to witness our reunion. If only Rhett were here to see it.

I’m going home. With them. I can barely process it.

Locking my arms around Kody’s neck, I whisper, “Did you sneak into my room and sniff my underwear?”

“Yes.”

Knew it!

“Did you jerk off on me while I slept?”

“Thought about it.”

“Caveman.”

“Call me whatever you want. I’m yours.”

He carries me outside, where a chauffeured car is waiting. We all pile in, and I find myself sandwiched between Monty and Kody in the back seat.
