No more hesitating.

At the first stretching press of him, he stops breathing.

I burst into flames.

Pushing gently, inch by inch, he sinks to the hilt and releases a tortured sound. His hand trembles on my hip. His breath shakes against my lips.

I collect every sound, every touch, aware that for the first time in his life, he’s having sex of his volition.

Gripping his granite-hard ass, I brace myself for an explosive ride. But he doesn’t move. Not right away. He lets me adjust to his size and to the tilting, whirling free-fall of the world turning upside down.

One blue eye and one gold eye, both shimmering, stare at me like he can’t believe what he’s feeling. Like I’m to blame for missing out on this all these years.

“Christ, Frankie. You feel too good.” His sultry rasp fills me as deeply as his cock, smooth as velvet-wrapped steel. “Ready?”

At my nod, he finally moves, sliding in and out with slow, rocking thrusts, feeding me his thick length. I clutch his muscled shoulders, fingernails biting into skin.

I must be gripping too hard, because he pauses, searching my face.

“Does it hurt?” Seated deep within me, he vibrates with barely held restraint. “Are you healed?”

I don’t know if he’s referring to the miscarriage or the past two weeks with Denver, but there’s only one answer.

“Feels good.” I pant. “More than good. Please, don’t stop.”

He places an open-mouthed kiss on my lips, and I lift my trembling hands to his face, holding him to me and kissing him back with every unspoken emotion inside me.

Electricity crackles between us. My inner muscles squeeze around him.

Then he gives it to me. Two hundred pounds of hard, ruthless thrusting. A feral beast freed of his leash. He turns my existence into fireworks and feasting, an erotic buffet of wet kisses, wandering hands, and writhing bodies.

Hips slamming into mine, he impales me over and over, a savage rhythm with no sign of stopping. We become sweat and salt and dirty dancing, and deeper and harder he goes, showing me what slumbers beneath that temper.

The angry, cruel monster I met months ago stares at me with stark, stunned awe on his face.

“Feels good?” I curl a hand around his damp nape.

He half-laughs, half-chokes, and lowers his head, not to reclaim my mouth, but to watch. Down the length of our bodies, he watches us with hooded eyes, hypnotized by the view of his glistening shaft pumping inside me.

Meeting him thrust for thrust, I press my fingers against the throbbing knot between my legs and bite his shoulder to contain my cries.

We undulate and rock together, the same pulsing rhythm, the same uninhibited passion, rippling and flowing like warm honey.

He shifts his hand to the junction of my thighs, taking over my clit, rolling it, revering it, and dragging that teetering edge closer and closer.

Galloping fills my ears. Electricity sparkles through my veins. My blood thrashes, and my toes curl.

“I’m there.” I bite my lip to muffle my sounds. “Oh, fuck, I’m there. There. I’m going to come. Fuck, Leo. Don’t stop.”

“With me.” His mouth is ravenous, consuming mine, as he grunts and drives his hips, taking me, taking us both on the ride of our lives.

As he digs deeper and deeper inside me, I don’t care how I came to Hoss or what I was before. I only care about the beautiful pounding between my legs and the man who is giving it to me so perfectly.

“Leo.” I tangle a hand in his thick hair, the other clutching the muscles of his ass as they flex with each thrust. “Please. I need…”

“Fuck.” His pace grows erratic, jerking and demanding. “Now, Frankie. Come with me.”

My body shakes with the explosion. Spasms dart through muscle and tissue, erupting in convulsions from head to toe. He trembles and moans with me, his hungry, profane mouth covering mine with kisses and curses.

Breathlessly, he continues to piston and grind, releasing violently, clinging to me, wringing every last ounce of pleasure from us both.

He holds me through the aftershocks, and I hold him back. Neither of us speaks. There are no words for this. No modern language to express the oldest expression of love.

Love.

It’s inevitable. We are inevitable. I told him I swore off marriage and monogamy, but the truth is I can’t deny my feelings. Good or bad, the heart wants what it wants, and my heart sings for him.

I suppose there are worse ways to destroy myself than to fall in love with a savage.

The sounds of the world trickle back. I’m trembling, and so is he as he remains seated inside me.

“I didn’t know it could be like this.” He brushes hair from my face, his fingers shaking. “I didn’t know. I’ve never felt anything like it, like…you.”

“I know.” I kiss his lips.

He’s still atop me, still in me, still panting, still hard.
