“Is that what you want?” Stefano asked.

“Yes.” The answer rose easily to my lips. “Yes, I do.”

“Starting tonight?” he asked.

I looked at Massimo when I answered. “Yes, if that’s all right.”

After a long moment, he nodded. “It is. And as for your other question, we’ll see as we go along. I have to admit, given how much you scream when one man drives you wild, I’m curious to see how loud you get when three of us do.”

I looked away, trying to hide how turned on that thought made me, but I was pretty sure they knew. “We’re really doing this?” I whispered in wonder. It seemed too good to be true.

“We are,” Carmine said.

“Now?” I asked, still unable to meet their gazes.

“Soon,” Massimo said. “We have a few more things to take care of first.”

That made me look up. “We do?”

“Yep.” He crossed over to the bar along the wall and returned with a wrapped gift box. “First things first. They got you lingerie, but I never have. Time to remedy that.”

Smiling at him, I took the box. The wrapping paper was lavender with small white flowers.

Carmine peered over my shoulder as I opened the box. “I got you lingerie before, not Stefano.”

I smiled up at the youngest of the men I loved. “He got me other things.” Like my first real taste of freedom, even if it was only through a video game.

The lingerie in the box was black, lacy, and skimpy. It was far sexier that the pretty set Carmine had gotten for me before, and I was glad. I could wear it for them tonight and I’d feel sexy. Confident. And like a new woman—who was starting her new life. “Thank you,” I told Massimo. I gave him a hug and he held me tight, his large hands squeezing my ass cheeks. Behind me, I heard the other two chuckle. It was embarrassing, knowing they were seeing Massimo grope my ass, but it was also a turn-on. The first of many before the night was through, I was sure.

“Now it’s our turn,” Stefano said. He pulled a square black box out of his pocket. Then he took my hand and looked at my ring. “Massimo got you a diamond, but we never have. Time to remedy that.” I smiled as he echoed Massimo’s words.

He opened the box and I gasped. Inside was a diamond bracelet that matched my ring. I reached out to touch it, but he pulled the box away. “Not just yet,” he said.

“Okay.” I smiled at him, trusting that whatever I was waiting for would be worth it.

“Allegra Striano Moretti, you’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.” He smiled at me and then dropped to one knee, while my mouth gaped open. “I love your smile. Your spirit. Your kindness. And the way your eyes light up when you experience something for the first time. I want to do my best to provide more experiences. More firsts. More things for you to smile about for the rest of my life. Will you let me do that?”

Happy tears filled my eyes. I reached down and took his hand, urging him to his feet. “I do. I mean, I will. I mean, you know what I mean.”

“I do,” he said with a wink. Then he positioned the beautiful bracelet around my wrist and fastened it. “I love you,” he whispered, and his kiss was soft and sweet.

“Looks like you’re up,” Massimo said to Carmine as Stefano finally let me go.

Carmine produced a small box from his pocket that could’ve been a ring, but when I opened it, I saw sparkling diamond earrings. “Thank you,” I said, turning them this way and that to see the way the light played off of them.

Carmine cleared his throat and sank to one knee. “Leila, when I first saw you, I thought you were beautiful, but the most timid, scared thing I’d ever laid eyes on. I thought there was no way you’d survive one night in our world, but you proved me wrong. You proved that even though you were given no choices, you still managed to carve some out for yourself.

“You made me want to be a better man, and I’m pretty sure my brothers would say the same thing. You also made me feel closer to them. In loving the same woman, we discovered that we’re not that different after all. I’ll be forever in your debt for that. Will you let me make it up to you?”

His heartfelt declaration nearly left me speechless. “I will.”

Instead of getting to his feet, Carmine pulled me down, balancing me on his thick thigh and then kissing me long and hard. Then he pulled me to my feet, looking down at the earring box. “I’m not going to put them on you like Stefano did with the bracelet. I don’t want to hurt you.”
