“Good morning,” I say when I clear the last step and my two girls look at me. Cici squeals louder than I’ve ever heard her before. “Has she been up for long?” I ask, looking over at the clock in the kitchen and seeing it’s almost noon.
“About four hours,” she shares, looking at Cici. “We were trying to be quiet.”
“I didn’t hear her.” I walk over to them, leaning down and kissing Cici on the forehead and then Eva on the lips. Before I sit next to her, Cici turns and throws herself at me. “Hi, girl,” I say when she lays her head on my shoulder.
“Levi,” Eva says my name and I look over at her. She looks at me with worry on her face. She’s been up for four hours, so she’s probably been thinking about last night for three hours and forty-five minutes. Spinning it over and over in her head, but not actually thinking about anything good.
“Don’t even,” I warn her, rubbing Cici’s back.
“It was a mistake,” she says softly and all I can do is laugh, making Cici put her head up as she looks at me smiling.
“Nope, not doing this.”
“What do you mean you aren’t doing this?” she questions from beside me, taking a sip of her coffee.
“It means that I’m not going to pretend it was a mistake.” I scrunch my nose at Cici before turning to Eva, putting one arm around her shoulder. “I’m not going to pretend I didn’t finger-fuck you two days ago.” Her eyes cloud over, no doubt remembering it also.
“I’m not going to pretend last night I didn’t have the best blow job of my whole life.” She rolls her eyes. “I’m also not going to pretend I don’t want you.”
“What are you saying?” she asks the question but avoids looking at me, instead she looks down in her lap at her cup.
“I’m saying, this changes things.” I wait for her to look at me.
“What the hell are you saying?” she asks and I can see her heart is beating rapidly, because her chest is going up and down really fast.
Her breathing is coming in pants now. I turn toward her, taking my arm from around her and placing my fingertips at her throat, feeling how fast her heart is beating. “I’m saying this thing between me and you.” My lips go into a huge smile. “It’s happening.” She sits up, shocked, her mouth opens and then closes. “I don’t know what it is, but I like it.” I lean in to kiss her cheek. “I like it more than that, I love it.” I hold her neck in my hand. “Coming home to you.” I stare into her eyes. “Going to bed with you. Doing life with you.”
She listens to my words, and I can see her head spinning. “It’s not that simple.”
“Why not?” I ask.
“Because it’s not.” She throws her own hand that isn’t holding the coffee cup up.
“Why can’t you just go with it?” I throw her again for a loop, but now I grab her cup of coffee and bring it to my lips. “Want to go on a date with me?” I smirk at her at the same time that Cici yells. I turn back to look at Cici, seeing her face fill with a smile. “And Cici?”
Chapter Twenty-Seven
Eva
I watch him look at Cici. “Do you want to go on a date with me and Auntie Eva?” he asks and she babbles away at him. I turn and put my back against the couch next to him. His arm going around me, he pulls me to him as he nods as if he understands what she’s saying, then turns back to me. “She said yes.”
I can’t help but shake my head and chuckle at that. “Is that so?” I pull my feet up to the side of me, laying them on his legs.
“That’s what she said.” He smirks. “Did you not get that from all the babbles?”
“I must have missed it,” I tease, looking at him. Last night was, well, there are no words for what it was. I have never been more turned on in my life. I’ve never come so hard in my life, and also, I’ve never wanted someone else the way I wanted Levi. I spent the better part of the morning replaying last night on repeat, around and around.
“Do you want to go for a walk?” he asks and I just nod my head. “Let’s get her all the fresh air so we can have a solid eight hours tonight.”
“She sleeps longer than that.” I laugh, getting up.
“Oh, I know.” He winks, getting up. “I meant us in bed, not sleeping.”
I put my hand on my hip at the same time my pussy clenches. “Really, eight hours?”
He shrugs. “Never actually tried.” He bends his head and rubs his nose with mine. “But it’s worth a fucking shot.”
