My heart starts racing as I pull out my little present and hand it to this gorgeous man.

“Merry Christmas, Quinn.”

He smiles as he opens it and then laughs when he reaches into the box and pulls out the tiny cactus all decorated like a Christmas tree. “Because you’re so prickly about Christmas.”

He laughs again. “I love it. It will never leave my desk.”

I feel like everything has come together as he wraps his arms around me and kisses my head. Is this what being in love is like? It must be.

“I have something for you too,” he says as he reaches into his coat pocket.

“I hope it’s not ten million dollars because that would just stress me out,” I say nervously.

“It’s more than that,” he says as he shows me a little blue box. I gasp as he drops to his knee. “It’s everything. It’s all my heart, all my devotion, all my love, and all my life.”

I can’t breathe as he opens the box, revealing a huge sparkly diamond ring.

“These past few days have been the best of my life, Jemma,” he says as he looks up at me with pure love. “I want to keep it going for the rest of my existence. Will you marry me?”

I don’t even have to think about it. Not for one second.

“Yes,” I say, crying while nodding.

He jumps up, wraps his arms around me, and hollers in delight as he spins me around. I grab his face and kiss his lips, still in disbelief that I’ll be able to kiss this perfect mouth whenever I want.

When we finally pull away, we spot everyone crowded around the windows watching us. They all cheer when I show them the ring.

“Grandkids!” Linda shouts as she comes running out of the house with her arms open. “I’ll have grandkids!”

She swallows us both in a hug and then jerks her head back, looking at me with panicked eyes. “You want kids, right?”

“Kids are great!” I say with a happy laugh.

Quinn is grinning as he looks at me. “Kids sound like a wonderful idea.”

And just like that, I’m part of the family.

EPILOGUE

Jemma

Fifteen Years Later…

The kids are so excited to get out of the city.

So am I.

Business has been amazing, but I could use a break. I don’t want to think about my clothing line for the next two weeks. All I want is a steady supply of Michael Bublé shot into my ears, adorable Christmas movies shot into my eyeballs, delicious baked goods shot into my mouth, and Quinn’s hard cock shot into my pussy.

I can’t wait.

“Is Dad coming?” our youngest, Caleb, asks from the backseat.

“Of course, he’s coming,” our oldest, Veronica, snaps. “It’s Christmas, stupid.”

“Don’t call your brother stupid,” I say as I turn onto a busy street. I hated driving in Manhattan for years, especially with a car full of kids, but I’m starting to get the hang of it now. “We’re picking Dad up at the office. I swear, I’ve told you that four times already. Do you even listen when I talk?”

He doesn’t answer. Of course, he doesn’t. He’s not listening.

I pull into the underground parking lot and take a breath of relief when I’m parked in the spot Quinn reserved for us.

Quinn started a tradition where his employees can bring their spouses and children into the office for the afternoon on the last day of work before the holidays. There’s a Christmas tree and catering and everyone gets presents. It’s so sweet how he’s so into Christmas now. I knew I would turn my hot, rich, New York finance guy around eventually.

“Alright, let’s go,” I say as I yank the tablet out of Caleb’s hands. “We’re here.”

“Where are we?” he asks, looking around totally confused.

Veronica throws her hands into the air, more frustrated than I am. “You gotta be kidding me!”

I usher them to the elevators with a fluttery feeling in my chest. I still get excited whenever I’m about to see my man. After all these years, he still has that effect on me.

So much has happened in the past decade and a half. It’s been a lot, but it’s been wonderful. I couldn’t be doing it with a better man. We got married, pumped out four children—two regulars and a set of twins, I started my clothing line, Quinn grew his second company insanely large, and we bought a second house in Vermont near Quinn’s parents. It’s actually our third house. We also have one in Hawaii where we vacation with Willow, Chris, and their kids every spring. She always tries to teach us how to surf, but Quinn and Veronica are the only two who have a knack for it. The rest of us seem to be in a close competition for the most epic fall. Last year, I won when a monster wave catapulted me forehead-first into the sand.
