Oh yeah, he’d found a Master all right…a wicked-looking one with a teasing grin.

In other words, perfect for Archer.

His new roommate-turned-Dom wouldn’t let him hide from what he wanted or from what he needed in a relationship. I just hoped it worked out between them because they’d really only been a couple for a few weeks.

There was a small exchange that I couldn’t quite eavesdrop on as I slowly moved closer, so I waited until Declan laughed to pretend to start searching the crowd. Laughter meant Archer couldn’t be too nervous, so I pretended to be surprised and headed toward them.

Declan gave him a little poke and that got Archer moving toward me as well. When we finally met in the middle, I had to laugh. “Dude, you really are small.”

He was like half of me, but I knew how he’d take it.

The dirty sub blushed and groaned, turning to hide his face against Declan’s shoulder as his Dom laughed. As Archer turned a cute tomato color, I waved in an offhand manner and snorted. “I meant your overall size, dirty boy.”

For some reason, that didn’t help Archer’s blushing problem…or his Dom’s laughter issue. When Declan could finally breathe, he hugged Archer and reached out to shake my hand. “Good to finally meet you in person.”

We’d talked enough on the phone since our first fun encounter that I was hoping it wouldn’t be awkward. But I’d been expecting it since I knew a hell of a lot about their personal life…and then adding in the extra weirdness because we were heading to a sexy photo shoot…yeah, I’d been expecting the worst.

So as relief flowed through me, I couldn’t resist teasing Archer again. “You severely understated how sexy your new roommate was.”

Archer finally huffed, pulling away from Declan as he stopped his drama. “You’re doing this on purpose because I dragged my feet coming. Stop it.”

Of course I was, but I scoffed and shook my head. “Absolutely not. I’m going to use this for years to come.”

“Evil pup.” His eyes widened like he couldn’t believe he’d said that out loud now that we were actually in person.

I didn’t mind because he’d been calling me worse for years, but the way the eyes widened on the lady next to us said not everyone had expected to hear it.

But since she just seemed confused and maybe a tiny bit shocked, I grinned even wider and waggled my eyebrows at Archer. “You’re just jealous because I’m an awesome pup.”

He nodded and giggled, finally looking like himself. “Yes.”

Just hearing his laughter was enough to show me that the meal hadn’t been a terrible idea. Having online friends all over was great for a variety of reasons, but sometimes people got really weird when we met in person.

Seeing his happiness, like the stress had been suddenly swept away, I leaned in for a hug and he laughed. “Did you also pick this place to drive me nuts? There are a thousand people here.”

I shrugged. That was not my fault. “I’ve never seen it this busy. But I’ve got reservations, so it shouldn’t be a problem unless you want to head down the street and find something else?”

They traded a questioning look, clearly making sure the crowd wasn’t too much for Archer. But just as quickly as Archer shook his head, Declan spoke up making me fight the urge to smile. “No, the menu here looked good. Once we get inside, it shouldn’t be as bad.”

They were perfect for each other.

I wasn’t sure Archer saw it, but the way Declan was watching out for him and making the call based on what he knew his sub needed said he was the right Dom for Archer.

And I was right about the crowd.

Having reservations meant we easily made our way through the crowd and were seated quickly at the back of the restaurant. With more privacy, I felt better about teasing him again. “You know, I’m starting to see why getting you out of the house was so difficult.”

Archer frowned at me, getting his gumption up as he fired back. “At least I’ve told you about Declan. Someone here is still keeping secrets.”

Now I was the one blushing and squirming.

Archer loved scoring a direct hit, so it took him a moment of gloating and giggling before I had to open up…a little. “Okay, maybe, but it’s not secrets…just…I’m not sure what we’re doing.”

“Just tell me what you’re not sure you’re doing, then.” Archer leaned against the table, studying me like an interrogator who was going to learn all my secrets. “What’s he like?”

I might’ve sighed.

Just a bit.

“There might be two hims…so which do you mean?”

And his mouth dropped open.

“What?” When Archer’s brain came back on track, he leaned over the table as his Dom giggled away and watched the two of us like a TV soap opera. “What did you do? Two? Who?”
