“I’m going to turn everything over to our contact at the Bureau.” Ezra smirks, the same guy who helped Millie secure the coffee shop with a little backdoor help from Four Brothers.

“Do it. Make it hurt, and don’t tell my mother. If Dad catches wind that she so much as spoke to you, what he did to these other women won’t hold a candle to what he’ll do to her. My mother may not be the most loving and caring person, but she doesn’t deserve to be hurt,” Boston states, a far cry from the man he was before Amelie sank him in only the way a man in love with a woman does.

“I’m with Boston. Do what you have to do. Four Brothers has Boston’s back. We’ll have to prepare a statement, Sly and Boston more than the rest of us,” Parker interjects.

“Then it’s settled. I’ll hand this over, anonymously, of course. No doubt those three-letter jurisdictions will get involved. Make sure you’re available should they need either of you, but don’t talk unless I’m with you, of course, and we’ll let the big guys bring down Governor Wescott for good,” I state.

“Yep, all is good. Thanks for taking on my shit, Sylvester. Fuck, I’ve got no words. I know he went after Fawn, and damn if that didn’t make me feel guilty that you and she took him on. She got more than she should ever have. Still, I’m thankful nonetheless.” Boston closes the file and shoves it to the middle of the table. He’s ready for this chapter of his life to be closed. Can’t say I blame him.

“Fawn’s okay. At least she will be after Wescott is put away, when her father brings to light how much of a disgusting piece of shit he is. At least she’s not wearing a cast anymore.” The doctor gave her the news she wanted. Her arm is still in a splint, but it gives her the mobility to work, which is all she really cared about. The only thing she gets annoyed with is when I won’t allow her to take it off as she takes my cock to the back of her throat. There’s no using her right hand, making it all the more enjoyable.

“Good. We’ll stick around for a few days. If it takes much longer than that, we’ll make a return trip when it’s time.” Boston stands up, and we all shake hands, pulling one another in for a half hug, then I’m heading out the door, as are the rest of the guys, minus Theo. He’s yet to have a woman at home waiting on him. When he does, that will be the fucking day. I can’t wait to watch the last brother fall.

TWENTY-SIX

Fawn

“Wow, they really work fast,” I tell Sylvester. We have the television on. The broadcasting stopped the segment with a breaking news headline. Last night, Sly wasn’t in bed with me. He was in his home office, working on breaking this case. After tossing and turning, I said the hell with staying in bed and chose to sit in his office while he worked the night away. He had a few choice words, but I stood my ground, grabbed a blanket, and made myself comfortable with a book. The chair in the corner with an ottoman helped. At some point, I fell asleep, waking up when Sylvester placed me in his bed, where he joined me when I muttered that if he wasn’t with me, I’d get back up.

“They do. A few of my sources were already looking into Wescott. Add in your father helping a former client who was willing to speak up against the damage he did to her, and it was only a matter of time,” Sly tells me. His arm is wrapped around my shoulder, holding me closely to his body. I look around his living room. Parker and Nessa, Ezra and Millie, Boston and Amelie, as well as Theo are gathered around us. Sylvester called after the meeting he had at Four Brothers with his friends, telling them everything he found out, files I was not privy to because it was that bad. He had already sent what he had on Governor Wescott to his sources within the police department, and they ran with it, rather quickly, too. I barely had enough time to place a massive order of appetizers, sandwiches, and drinks before the gang was here. Knowing Sly’s would more than likely invite his parents, my parents, as well as Sable and Blaire at some point today as well, I ordered a shit ton of everything.

“I’m glad. How’s Boston feeling about all of this?” I turn to look at Sylvester, ignoring the fact that on the screen, Governor Wescott is in handcuffs, being led inside by a slew of government agencies, his head down as he refuses to look at the camera.
