But before too long, I was eager to go back and spend more time with Jackson and Reid. And every so often, I wished that we could all be here together. But there was no way my family was ready for that.

After I made the rounds, saying goodbye to family and friends, I surreptitiously loaded up a plate of food to take back to the others. Then I bit back a laugh as I saw Hunter slip a bottle of champagne under his suit jacket.

Jackson and Reid were the only ones at the house when we got back, but they were still hard at work. There was a surprise in the living room. Their realtor had come by with a van full of furniture to set up in the rooms that were finished. “It’ll save us time,” Reid explained. “Since ideally, we’d like to start showing the house on Monday.”

“That’s smart,” I said, smiling at them. But neither smiled back. There was a tension in the air that I couldn’t quite identify.

“There’s something else,” Jackson said.

“What?” I exchanged a look with Hunter. He didn’t know what was going on, either.

“You’ll see.” He walked to the back bedroom where we slept, except when we entered, the sleeping bags had been shoved to the side. In the center of the room was a magnificent king-size bed. The headboard looked good against the fresh coat of paint on the back wall, and the pillows, sheets, and blankets were all color coordinated.

“It looks nice,” I said, but my voice trembled slightly.

Reid noticed, and he reached over to give my hand a reassuring squeeze.

“This is part of the staging, too?”

“Yep,” Jackson said. “Not much room left for sleeping bags.” He looked me right in the eye.

I could’ve suggested we move the sleeping bags to the smaller bedroom. Or the loft, the living room, or even the backyard.

But I didn’t.

Reid still had my hand in his. He tugged on it, and I turned to face him. He looked me in the eye as he spoke. “We were thinking… maybe we should all sleep on the bed tonight.”

Time seemed to stop, and so did my pulse and my need for air. I stood there, frozen, but after I finally remembered how to draw in a breath again, I smiled. “I’d like that.”

PENNY

Jackson insisted that I wear the bridesmaid dress to bed. I was willing to do pretty much anything when he looked at me with so much longing, but I still wanted to know why.

He looked a little sheepish. “You were so fucking gorgeous at the wedding today… but I spent half the time wondering what it would be like to peel you out of this dress.”

Hunter chuckled, and the look on Jackson’s face grew defensive.

“I don’t see what’s wrong with that,” I said.

Hunter smirked. “I was just laughing because I was thinking the same thing at the reception.” Both he and Jackson turned to look at Reid.

“I wasn’t even there, so my thoughts today were pure.” Then he grinned. “Plus, I got to take her dress off last night.”

“You what?” Jackson said, his voice rising rapidly. He pretended to take a swing at his brother, but I reached out and stilled his arm.

“It’s technically true, but not quite what you think.”

Reid nodded. “I’m hoping that tonight, there will be less crying involved.”

I laughed at the bemused expressions on Hunter and Jackson’s faces. “At any rate, today’s a new day. I’m just going to go lay in the middle of that big bed, and hopefully someone will join me.”

“Sounds like a good plan to me,” Hunter said.

The beautiful rose-colored gown already made me feel like a princess, but when I lay down in the middle of the bed, it felt even more like a fairy tale. Like I was Snow White waiting for my prince to come. Except there were three men who had the power to change my world with a single kiss.

My eyes were closed, but I felt someone climb onto the bed on my left. And then on my right. The mattress dipped more on the right, so I figured there were two triplets over there.

I kept my eyes closed as I shivered slightly. Not from cold, but from anticipation.

Then long fingers stroked my hair. I pressed my head against the hand, enjoying the soothing strokes. Then another hand trailed along my side. And then one on my thigh.

I moaned as practically every part of me was being stroked and rubbed at once. There were six hands attached to three men who clearly knew a woman liked to be touched. That alone was almost enough to send me over the edge.

My hips lifted off the bed as I squirmed under the delicious sensations, but then someone straddled me, pressing my hips back down. “Wha—”

The question died on my lips as someone kissed me, slowly and thoroughly. I wondered who, but then I realized it didn’t matter. It was someone I liked—and someone who liked me. That was all that mattered. That, and the fact that it was someone I was pretty sure I was falling in love with.
