“You said you’re a regular here?”

Sascha turned his head to listen when Ford spoke, but he quickly turned back to Brian and eagerly nodded his head. “Have been for three years. I have a platinum status.”

“What does platinum status get you?”

Sascha rubbed his smooth hands up and down Brian’s chest as he answered every one of his questions. “Any and everything.”

“Access to the male review?”

“Yes. But I’m not interested in those tawdry strippers. You’d think a place like this could afford the best dancers. Diamon should be ashamed.”

Ford kept his features schooled just like the rest of them, but this was great. Their informant knew exactly who they were looking for.

“Is she here now? Have you seen her?”

“Yes. She runs the upstairs. It’s by exclusive invitation. I would never go to one of her events, though.”

“So you’ve seen her tonight?”

“Yes. She’s up there now,” Sascha confirmed. “Do you guys want me to take you up there to see her? I can get one of you in with my platinum pass.”

“You’d do that for me?” Brian tilted the man’s dimpled chin and kissed him there, making him moan unashamedly.

“Anything,” Sascha whispered. “I’ll take you now.”

“Do you know what kind of car she drives?” Ford asked.

Sascha pffted. “Everyone does. It’s a white Lexus with god-awful pink leather interior. I’m telling you, the woman has no taste.”

Ford checked his watch, it was close to eleven. “Do you know who else may be up there?”

“I’ve been on the other side most of the evening so I don’t know who’s come and gone. It’s usually ladies and a few men on Sundays. Her man and his entourage are usually up there, too. No one likes Ray.”

All three of them bristled at the thought of one of the Grossmans possibly being there now. Ford spoke into his watch. “Duke did you get that? White Lexus with a pink interior… Roger that. Brian’s going in… I’ll let you know when we’re in position.”

“Oh my gosh, you’re working?! How many bounty hunter guys are here? Are you here to arrest Diamon?” Sascha was absolutely pulsating with enthusiasm as they got their game faces on. “I want to help. Please. I can assist you in any way you need.”

“You’re doing great already, baby.”

“I’m not fucking translating that. Let’s go Romeo, it’s time. Duke and Quick are putting the tracker in place now.” Ford pulled Brian back from Sascha and ordered the pretty man to lead the way. Brian set his watch up to record video and audio so they could make sure he was safe. When they got back inside, Ford and Dana split off while Brian let Sascha lead him up the long staircase to the upper level. They talked with the bouncer for a couple seconds, Sascha flashing a card at him and tucking it away as the curtain was pulled back for them to enter. Then his brother was out of his sight. Duke and Quick were the ones with visual now.

Ford leaned against one of the small bars off the dance floor, slightly bopping his head to the music while he waited for the signal. After a couple minutes, Ford’s watch vibrated and an alert came through.

Ray is here… six men! Move in.

Ford made eye contact with Dana. They could handle six. Actually, they could handle a lot more. With the element of surprise on their side, they’d catch Ray off guard. In sync, he and Dana reached inside their shirts and pulled out their stars at the same time Quick and Duke burst through the front entrance with their weapons drawn and pointed down, the large block letters – BOUNTY HUNTER – across their chests, scaring anyone in their path. They moved beside each other like they’d been partnered for years… they had. As they made their way to the stairs, a few people had already started to hurry towards the exit, panicked at the sight of four men in all black with weapons inside their nice white establishment.

The guard at the door stood when he caught sight of them and reached behind him as if going for a weapon. Dana was behind the three of them, Ford heard Dana loudly identify who they were and yelled an order to the guard to back away. When he ignored the warning and kept reaching, Dana fired two rounds from his SALT, pepper spray pellets hitting the guard in the chest at over 50mph. It hurt and stunned the hell out of him, immediately blinding him and limiting his ability to breathe. The man fell to his knees, gasping and choking. He should be glad Dana was able to eliminate him as a threat without the use of lethal force.

Two more men rushed from behind the curtain at the sound of the guard’s pained shout. As soon as their eyes landed on them, before they could react, Dana popped both of them, again, dead center. Ford loved it. This got his blood pumping viciously through his system. His watchman was at his six, taking out any threats before him. A man came flying out between the curtains, landing with a hard thud at Duke’s feet. Brian’s handiwork. He and Quick darted to the sides of the curtains and Ford went through first, with Dana right behind him, Quick and Duke filing in next. Brian was standing just inside the curtain with Sascha tucked behind him looking two parts terrified and one part excited.
