Going to the dresser, Reaper picked up his gun where Lucky had placed it. As he put the gun at the notch of his back, he realized he must have forgotten Suki.

Blocking the door from Lucky leaving, he ignored the brothers and the women who scattered when he opened his door. He let Suki inside before slamming the door for those who were still brave enough to remain on the same floor.

Lucky arched a brow at him for not letting him leave.

Reaching for his gun, he handed it back to Lucky.

“Shoot me.”

Chapter Forty-Four

“I am not wearing this.” Ginny started to slide the zipper down that held the pieces of her top together with the use of her uninjured hand.

“You’re wearing it.” Trudy swatted her hand away to rezip the black top. “Why didn’t you just ask for some help?”

“Sorry, I’m used to doing things on my own.” Ginny turned to face the mirror more fully, then wished she hadn’t. “I can’t wear this tonight. There are going to be too many people coming to The Last Riders’ tonight, and that doesn’t include how many are already there.”

“That’s the plan.” Killyama unceremoniously shoved her down onto the bed.

Ginny had to hold onto the side to keep herself from toppling over when the woman shoved a stiletto onto each of her resisting feet, while Trudy carefully slid the sling back on her sprained arm.

“Ouch!” Ginny muttered when Killyama pinched her calf to keep her from wiggling.

“Bitch, that didn’t hurt.” Killyama helped her to stand, as Trudy finished adjusting the sling comfortably around her shoulder.

The five women circled her to critique her appearance.

“Not bad. Something’s missing,” Sex Piston mumbled, staring at her fixedly. “I know.” Snapping her fingers, she went to her dresser, coming back with her teasing comb.

When Sex Piston was done, she gave another once-over, and Ginny saw her reflection in the floor-length dressing mirror. “I look like a floozy. I’m going to hell.” Ginny whined at the women who had turned to admire their own reflections.

“So?” Crazy Bitch turned to get a better view of her ass in the snug red miniskirt. “We’re all going to be there with you. What’s the big deal?”

Ginny moved in front of Crazy Bitch to see if tugging the black skirt down lower would cover more of her womanly parts. Pulling it higher when it exposed more of her pouch, she narrowed her eyes on Killyama. “Change outfits with me.”

“Bitch these pants are too long for you.”

Damn. Killyama was right.

“I’ll switch with you,” Crazy Bitch offered.

“No, thanks.” The woman was wearing a red lace top with a red bra underneath, paired with a red skirt that was even shorter than hers.

“We all ready?” Sex Piston asked, throwing different colored lipsticks into her purse. “The boys are waiting.”

“Do Stud, Calder, Cade, and Dalton know The Last Riders haven’t invited us over tonight?” Ginny refused to budge from her spot on the carpet as the women waited by the door.

Sex Piston shrugged unapologetically. “It’s on a need-to-know basis. When they need to know, I’ll tell them.”

Ginny looked at Killyama. “At least tell me Train knows you’re having a party at their clubhouse.”

“Okay, he knows.”

Suspicious, Ginny stared Killyama down. It didn’t work. The woman opened the door, ushering the women out. “Move it. Diamond isn’t going to order the burgers and fries until we’re ten minutes from Treepoint. I’ve been craving those burgers all day.”

Ginny followed them out into the living room where the men were waiting. The appreciative catcalls the men made for their wives had them prancing around to show off their clothes.

Killyama stopped in front of Train. “You like?”

“I like.” He grinned at her. “Where’re we going?”

“Mick is going to make us some burgers.”

Ginny frowned at Killyama sidestepping the question. Then she decided to speak up. She wasn’t going to let the men be bamboozled into letting the wolves enter a lion’s den. “We’re—”

“Gotta go.” Killyama shoved Train toward the door, while the other women manhandled their men.

Trudy linked their arms together, maneuvering her outside.

“Dalton will be furious with you going to The Last Riders’ club without him.”

“Then he should have come with us.”

Trudy opened Cade’s back door for her before going around to the other side.

Ginny resumed the conversation when Trudy was in the car. “You sent him to the store so we wouldn’t have to wait in the car for him.”

“Don’t worry; he’ll get over it. You can get away with a lot of crap when you’re pregnant.”

“Really?”

“Yes. The bad part is when this little bundle of joy pops out of me, the get-out-of-jail pass expires.”

“What are you going to do then?” Ginny laughed.

“Have another one, of course.”

The drive back to Treepoint was uneventful and over much too soon.

Driving through main street, Ginny’s nerves were making her feel nauseous. There was no freaking way she would be able to let the men see her in this outfit. Gavin acted like a priest when she wore clothes that he considered remotely suggestive. The clothes she was wearing now blew past suggestive; they were an outright feast for the male of the species.
