Uh oh.

“You just lied, didn’t you, Bunny?”

She winced. The four of them had had a long talk about her lies. They understood why she couldn’t tell them the truth and they forgave her.

But they’d also made her promise that she would never lie to them in the future.

Was she in trouble now?

Tamsyn glanced back at Alexei. He had his eyebrow raised and was giving her a stern look. Her shoulders slumped.

Great.

She was going to spend her first ever holiday getting her butt spanked every day.

“It wasn’t to you, though,” she pointed out.

“Hmm. That’s true. Lucky save.”

She breathed out a sigh of relief as they reached the stairs leading up to the plane.

Salem stopped in front of her and held out his hand. She slid her hand into his with a smile. “Can you believe we’re going on holiday? My very first. That I can remember, anyway.”

Salem’s smile slid off his face. Shoot. She shouldn’t have said that. It always made them sad when she mentioned things about her childhood.

Well, her non-existent childhood.

She’d spent hours and hours telling them about her life and she knew it hadn’t been easy for them to hear it. But they’d insisted.

Alexei had had to leave several times to work out his anger on his boxing bag, while Roman had sat on his laptop and researched how to help someone with childhood trauma.

Like they didn’t all have that, anyway.

Well, except for Salem.

His family was amazing, and they were all here on the plane. Even his mum and dad. Salem had finally convinced his mum that nothing bad would happen to her if they left the UK.

She hoped that was true.

She settled into the private plane next to Roman, who smiled over at her. Then he set his phone down so he could do up her belt.

“Make sure you check her belt,” Alexei bossed as he sat facing her. Salem was next to him. “Bunny, don’t take that off unless you need to use the bathroom. And then one of us will take you.”

“David, how come you never check if my belt is secure?” Charlene complained as Roman checked Tamsyn’s belt.

David sighed. “Because I’m not as perfect as Alexei, Roman, or Salem.”

“You are certain this plane is safe?” Salem’s mum asked. “It’s not very big.”

“It’s bigger than I thought it would be,” Con said.

“And so fancy,” Erica added. “I’m so excited. I’m going to lay on the beach or by the pool. I wish we had a cocktail.”

“Ooh yes, cocktails.” Charlene clapped her hands. “Tamsyn, do you need a cocktail?”

Tamsyn tilted her head to the side. “I don’t believe I’ve ever had one.”

There was silence.

Oh no. Had she said the wrong thing?

She gave Salem a panicked look, but he just winked at her.

“Oh my God!” Erica cried. “It’s time to corrupt you!”

“I loooveee cocktails!” she cried as Alexei carried her down the stairs.

A wave of heat hit her.

“They are the best. They are the best. And so are Erica and Charlene! They are the best!”

“Wow, she really can’t handle her alcohol, huh?” David commented.

“I can too. I held it all by myself. No bottles or sippy cups needed.”

Suddenly, Alexei pressed her face into his chest.

“Be quiet now, Bunny, before you go revealing anything else you shouldn’t.”

She didn’t know what he was talking about.

“It’s a game,” Roman whispered to her. “If you can stay silent until we get into our room, you get a prize.”

“Like I get to suck-on-your-cock sort of prize?” she asked.

Someone gasped.

Oh no, she hoped they hadn’t seen a crocodile.

They were scary!

“It’s not a crocodile,” Salem soothed. “But you do need to play the silent game, now.”

“Okie-dokie, Daddy.”

Alexei was finding it hard not to burst out laughing.

“Stop it,” Roman told him. “This is serious. She basically just outed Salem as her Daddy.”

“Yeah, so? I don’t know why we are hiding it from them. They know everything else.” He slid into the waiting limo and Roman slid in beside him. To his surprise, Salem’s parents opted to come in with them along with Salem, who was looking a bit red.

“Has she fallen asleep?” Jad asked.

“Yeah.” Alexei tightened his hold on her. Usually, he’d prefer she wear a seatbelt. But he wouldn’t allow anything to happen to her while his arms were around her.

“She calls you Daddy,” Sara said without a hint of emotion in her voice.

“Yes,” Salem said. “You see—”

“Alina has that sort of relationship with her men,” Jad interrupted him. “Nothing wrong with it.”

“Of course not,” Sara said. “People should be free to be who they want to be. None of our business what you do in your private life.”

“See? Nothing to worry about,” Alexei told Salem.

Salem let out a sigh of relief.

“Now, what is first on the itinerary?” Jad asked.

“Today, we settle into our accommodation,” Roman said. “Tomorrow we’re having a tour of the palace, and lunch with Alina and her men. The next day is for relaxing, then a suit and dress fitting, then the rehearsal dinner. And, finally, the wedding.”
