Victor smiles. “I know, but nobody screws with my nesting wife.” His hot breath ghosts my lips. “Well, except for me. I’ll screw you anytime, anywhere.”
I giggle at him, but it’s the truth too. The pregnancy sent my hormones into overdrive, and Victor had taken every opportunity to prove his statement. At this point, I can think of more places he hasn’t filled me with his come … yet.
“Oh, that silver tongue of yours and the things I want to do to it.” I giggle.
“And the places it wants to travel.” Victor slides one of his arms off my shoulder, trails the shape of my rounded belly, and stops right above my core. “Mainly here. Well, only here.” He grins.
“Behave yourself.” I nibble his lip. “There will be time for that in the hotel room.”
“Fine, fine.” He snickers. “But know I don’t do it easily. You know I’m not a patient man.”
He holds me for a while while I work up the courage to speak.
“Does Erik have anything planned after tonight?”
Victor tightens his hug and shakes his head. “I don’t care if he does. I’m out after this. Done with contracts, the charades, and their monkey dances.”
He leans back, meets my eyes with his, and takes my cheek in his palm.
“After this, my love, it’s you and me and our baby.”
