“Of course…” She got up too, and all that anger she’d felt just a moment ago was gone. She looked on the verge of tears, not for herself but for me. Her hand reached for mine, and she gave it a quick squeeze before she let me go.

I squeezed it back.

I walked past the guard at the doorway and swiped the dagger from his belt with a fluid motion.

The door closed behind me, and I discreetly slipped the dagger underneath my sleeve.

His voice came from behind me. “Go.”

“Where, asshole?” I just had to survive this, and then I’d get us out of here. Couldn’t be that bad. Couldn’t feel worse than I felt right now.

He shoved me in the back. “There.”

He marched me down a couple hallways and then inside a bedroom. Torches lit the dark corners, cast shadows along the walls. The bedchamber had a large four-poster bed, chains hooked to each beam of wood. The windows were open, letting the cool breeze waft through the room.

“Take off your clothes.”

I turned around and faced him, my eyebrow raised. “You’re an attractive dude, but not my type. Not enough tits and ass.”

His face remained slack, not even cracking a smile.

“Alright, then…” I started to undress, his eyes on me the entire time. It was hard to hide the dagger and not let it fall with a thud, so I turned at just the right time, caught it, and wrapped it in my tunic before I dropped it on top of my pants without a sound. I turned back around, buck naked.

He moved toward me.

“Whoa, hold on.” I raised my palm to stop him from coming any closer. “I’ll do the honors, alright?” I climbed onto the bed and hooked the chains to my ankles and then one arm. The other remained free.

That seemed to be enough for him because he walked out.

I lay there staring at the ceiling, waiting for something to happen.

A woman appeared from another room, with long dark hair, bright-red lips, almond-shaped eyes—and she was completely naked. Her skin was fair and unblemished, not a single scar, and she had big tits that were perky and an ass to boot.

Was not expecting that.

She approached the bed and directed my limp hand into the cuffs. “Allow me.” She looked down at me, her eyes playful, a strand of hair coming loose from behind her ear and hitting my shoulder. “Aren’t you delicious?” Her eyes took me in, and then she placed her fingers right against my chest and dragged down, over my abs, down to the vein right above my dick. “They told me you were handsome, but they still undersold you.”

I just wanted to get this over with, so I stayed quiet. The sooner she bit me, the sooner she’d be full, and the sooner I could get back and get the hell out of there.

She crawled onto the bed and straddled my hips—her sex right against mine.

As if this was foreplay, she leaned forward and kissed my stomach and then my chest, her hair dragging behind her, her back arching so her ass was in the air.

This would be hot under different circumstances. Like, if I wasn’t about to be eaten and I didn’t just get dumped by a girl I actually liked for the first time in my life.

Her kisses continued, and her teeth remained sheathed in her throat. Her hands felt me everywhere, and whenever her sex was against mine, I could feel how wet she was. She straddled my hips once more and sat there. “If he’s not your type, then I definitely am.” She rubbed her hips, as if that was all she needed to do to get my dick to spring to life. “Is it the bite? It’s scary at first, but you’ll enjoy it if you relax.”

“I might be into this under different circumstances, but you didn’t catch me on my best day.”

“And why’s that?” Her palms continued to stroke my chest.

“I just got dumped.”

“Then it sounds like my timing couldn’t be better.” She had a seductive voice, the kind that was deep but still feminine. She didn’t seem like the kind of woman that needed to tie a guy down to get some action.

“But I liked her…really liked her.”

“If she’s forgotten you, you should forget about her.” She leaned in close, her lips coming close to mine. “I can help with that.”

Too much bad shit had happened for me to feel anything but agony. “Just get it over with, alright?”

Her eyes narrowed and her face tightened—like I’d just said the wrong thing. “This is supposed to be fun, and you just took that away from me.”

“Sorry about that.”

“Don’t appreciate the sarcasm.”

“Well, that’s all I got.”

She sat back, and then her mouth opened, and the teeth slowly emerged.

It was horrifying every time I saw it, like watching a snake unhinge its jaw to swallow prey five sizes too big.
