“Yeah baby”

“Wiley” she says and I look down at our daughter as she watches us

“What about her?”

“You can’t kiss me like that when I’m holding her” I lean down and kiss her neck my dick straining in my boxers

“I’ll kiss you anyway I want baby” she leans back trying to get up but I hold her down “Your mine Dove, do you hear me mine baby for now and ever” I whisper to her kissing her neck and she shivers

“Socket don’t say things like that”

“I’ve already said them” she sits up still holding Wiley in her arms

“Well don’t ok, we got carried away yesterday and it’s not going to happen again” I stand up and walk around the bed blocking her from leaving and she looks up at me

“Dove, you don’t seem to get it through your head, so let me make it perfectly clear. You and me is never going to end, your it for me baby” she laughs stepping back again

“And what about the whores, are you going to run to them whenever we have a fight. Do I have to worry that whenever you go to the clubhouse that you’ll be fucking one of those bitches” I step forward and pull her to me

“Baby I’m never touchin’ those women again”

“And how am I supposed to believe that”

“Because you have to trust me baby, if we don’t have trust than there’s no point” a tear slides down her cheek and I hate myself for givin’ her all these doubts about us, I hold her tight lettin’ her know I mean every word (I fuckin’ love her)

“I’m scared” she says and I lift her chin

“I love you Dove and I promise baby I’ll never make you doubt me again”

“You can’t promise me that”

“I can” I tell her leanin’ down and kissin’ her with the passion of my heart and soul

Chapter Forty-Six

Dove

After a shower I walk into the kitchen to see Wiley dressed and ready to go, Socket holding her and her bag smiling “Ready?” he says and I nod still unsure if this is the right thing to do, but my heart sores with the prospect of being with him. He opens my door helping me in than takes Wiley to the back strapping her into her seat and I look at him. The frown he used to have whenever he had to deal with Wiley is gone and he leans down and kisses her cheek making sure she’s in securely. When he gets into his seat I watch as he buckles his belt and he looks at me smiling “Why are you so happy?” I ask him

“Because your home baby” he starts the truck backing out and takes my hand in his bringing it to his lips and kissing the back of my hand and the walls I’ve built around my heart start to crack.

When we head down town Socket pulls into the tattoo shop parking lot “Give me a sec I just have to check something” he says

“Socket if you need to work I can take Wiley and do the grocery shopping”

“No, just give me a minute” I wonder how he’s made any money with the amount of time he’s taken off of work. I watch as he walks in and I hear Wiley rattling a toy making me smile, I see a woman walk past the truck with a little girl walking beside her and a big pregnant belly. I look down at my stomach and wonder what it would be like to have a baby, I love Wiley like she’s my own but it’s not the same. I look back at the shop and Socket’s words come back to mind that he never wanted kids, I look back at Wiley knowing I’m never going to have my own and my nose tingles and I hold back the tears. Socket opens the door and I look at him and he frowns “What’s wrong?” he asks but I just shake my head not wanting to voice the pain of never having my own child.

“Nothing, did you get everything?” he nods

“Yep”

We spend the day getting things for the house, bed linen, towels stupid things like that. We buy loads of food at the grocery store and as we head back to the house to our house and I smile.

By the weekend I’d convinced Socket to go back to work, all week he’d been doing my head in making sure I was ok. I sort of understood how Lena felt with Tank always hovering. As I feed Wiley her lunch my phone goes off and I see Niya’s name

“Hey”

“Lena went into labour and where all heading to the hospital”

“Is she ok?”

“Yeah, Tank rang a couple of minutes ago”

“Oh, ok what should I do?”

“Head to the hospital” she says and I look at Wiley’s face covered in spaghettios
