He sighs and moves toward me. I can feel him just inches from me, but he still doesn’t touch me.

“And it made me wonder,” I continue after taking a breath, “if this is one-sided, because I don’t think that I would ever do that to you. No, I know that I wouldn’t. Because I would never want to hurt you like that.”

His arms come around me now, around my own arms, and he hugs me tightly from behind. I want to lean back against him, but I’m too hurt to give in.

“I’m going to tell you this,” he says into my ear as his hold on me tightens, “as many times as you need to hear it, because it’s the God’s truth, and I’ve never lied to you, London. There is no one in this world that I want besides you. I didn’t know that I was looking at her in any kind of way. I was being polite while Ike spoke with fans; that’s all it was from my side. And when she leaned in, I don’t know, it was so insignificant—she was insignificant—that I just didn’t care.”

I swallow hard and lift my arms so his hands can drift down to my stomach. He pulls my sweater up and over my head so his hands can wander over my skin.

“You’re all I fucking think about,” he says, his voice growing rougher. He pushes against me, and I can feel his hard cock strain against me through his jeans. “You do this to me. No one else. I don’t feel like I want to move heaven and earth for anyone but you.”

I’m melting against him now, completely hypnotized by his touch, by his words, and by the fierceness in his voice. He means what he’s saying, and I realize that I might have overreacted in the moment.

He takes my hands and props them on the glass and pulls my hips back. He unfastens my jeans and wrangles them down my legs, and when I’m naked from the waist down, he urges my legs apart. His hands travel up the inside of my thighs, and then he’s touching me, and I cry out, unable to help myself.

I move to turn around, but he stands and quickly replaces my hands on the glass, tipping my face toward him.

“I’m going to show you,” he murmurs against my lips. “Unless you don’t want me to touch you. If that’s the case, just say so.”

“I always want you to touch me.”

His lips twitch into a small smile as he kisses me, and then he bites my lower lip before he moves behind me once more. I hear him shed his own clothes, still seeing his dark reflection in the glass. We’re completely exposed here. If it weren’t dark, someone on the mountain might see us.

His hands are everywhere. Moving over my breasts, down my thighs, and then back up between my legs, where he worries his fingertips over my clit.

“You,” he says, “are mine. Every bit of you, London Ambrose. This”—his fingers slide inside of me—“is mine.”

His fingers move quickly, working me up into a frenzy before he pulls them out, and with his eyes on mine in the glass, he cups my chin in one hand and offers the fingers of the other to my lips. I don’t hesitate to open my mouth, and I can taste myself on him.

“Mine,” he whispers again, and slides easily inside of me, making me moan around his fingers. “But that works both ways, baby. I’m yours.”

He pulls out and then pushes in again, then stops, seated fully.

“I belong to you in ways that I can’t even fucking describe. Do you know what I was thinking when I looked at her?”

I narrow my eyes, and he has the audacity to laugh.

“I was thinking about how I wanted to do exactly this to you tonight. I was wondering when we could get away from them so I could see you because I hadn’t been near you in hours, and I was craving you.”

I sigh at his words, and he begins to move. His hands come down to my hips, and I lean against the glass as he thrusts harder and harder, as though he’s hammering the point into me how completely and fully I belong to him.

And vice versa.

“You.” He bites my shoulder. “Are.” He kisses right between my shoulder blades. “Mine.”

I can’t suppress the orgasm any more than I can stop the snow from falling outside. It washes over me, completely overwhelming me, and I feel Drew follow me over the edge into his own orgasm.

Finally, he turns me in his arms and kisses the hell out of me before lifting me and sitting on the couch, cradling me in his strong arms.

“You’re the only thing that matters,” he assures me, brushing my hair off my cheek. “I promise you that.”
