“I see.” She nibbles on her fucking bottom lip, and my cock instantly turns hard as a rock. “If I marry you, do you expect me to just give up my job and move here?”

I’m flying by the seat of my pants here. I hadn’t really thought all this through, but I’ll do whatever the fuck it takes to keep my little spitfire forever. She’s my goddamn everything, and I can’t breathe when I try to imagine my life without her.

“No.” I wrap my hand around her head and pull her face close to mine making sure she can see the honesty shining in my eyes. “I’ll give up my job and become a kept man if you prefer.” And I will if Raven asks me to.

“I can live with that.” She smiles up at me. “And I love you, too.”

I almost fall to my knees in relief, knowing this perfect woman is mine forever.

“Now, you need to find a way to convince my two pain-in-the-rear older brothers not to maim you for corrupting me.”

“Leave it to me. I have years of experience being a pain-in-the-ass older broth-er.” How hard can it be? Surely, her asshole brothers will understand once they see how happy I’m going to make their little sister.

Or maybe they won’t. Either way, it doesn’t matter. Now that Raven is mine, nothing will ever take her away from me.

Raven

Two Years Later

My phone rings and Hawk’s face flashes across the screen. I place my sleeping two-month-old daughter in the playpen and answer. “Hello.”

“Is dickhead home?” I roll my eyes. We’ve been together for two years and have two kids together, but my oldest brother still hasn’t completely forgiven Roman for stealing me away.

“He’s at the club helping set up for the annual Silver Spoon Falls Bachelor Auction this weekend,” I answer, rolling my eyes. My brothers are still a tiny bit salty that I signed the biggest band in the country on the same weekend I fell for Roman and decided to put my career on hold and move to Silver Spoon Falls. “I’ll have him call you when he gets home.” I still help out with Inked Knight Records when my brothers get into a jam, and I work part-time helping my husband keep up with all his various business obligations. Between those two jobs and our two little ones, I’m pretty busy at all times.

I miss living in the same town as my family, but I’ve never been happier. It took a while for Candy to forgive me for falling in love and abandoning her, but she got over it when her own soulmate came calling. Once Sp*nked finishes up their latest tour, Candy and Riley will be moving to Silver Spoon Falls permanently, and I can’t wait to have my best friend back in the same town as me.

“That’s fine,” Hawk grumbles. “I was hoping the asshole could get me tickets to the Falcons game next Saturday. I’m negotiating with a new country act, and they are huge hockey fans.”

“So, he’s moved up in your opinion from dickhead to asshole? I guess Roman is growing on you,” I tease my brother, knowing full well that he forgave Roman the minute our first daughter was born. Hawk took one look at Chelsea and fell instantly in love. Falcon, of course, couldn’t pass up an opportunity to screw with our older brother and caused a scene when Hawk insisted he and Harper would be Chelsea’s godparents. My two brothers ended up arm wrestling in the hospital waiting room and Hawk won.

“He’s grown on me like a goddamn fungus,” Hawk mutters, but I can picture the smiling smirk on his face through the phone. “How are my nieces?”

“Chelsea learned to climb out of her baby bed over the weekend, so we had to buy a toddler bed for her.” Last Saturday morning, Roman and I were enjoying a quiet breakfast together while the girls slept in. Then all hell broke loose when the floor above us shook. We both ran up the stairs to find our fearless thirteen-month-old lying on the floor next to her baby bed.

“How the hell did she do that?” Hawk goes into overprotective uncle mode. “Isn’t the bed at the lowest position?”

“Yes, Hawk. The mattress was all the way at the lowest position.” I’m going to give myself a massive headache if I keep rolling my eyes this hard. “We had to watch the security video to find out what happened. The little stinker shimmied her way up the bars and threw her leg over the top of the rail and basically pole-vaulted over.”

“Good God. Is my goddaughter okay?”

“She’s fine. We were freaked out, but Chelsea didn’t have a scratch on her. Roman went out and bought a fancy toddler bed before her afternoon nap.” I’m not sure who overreacts worse, my overprotective husband or my two pain-in-the-rear brothers. “And Ainsley slept through the entire thing.” Living with an older sister whose only volume is ear-splitting has taught our two-month-old to sleep through anything.
