I needed more practice actually communicating with him about nonwork-related things before I tried to read his mind.

So far, the only things I could read his mind about revolved around his house, and that was only so helpful.

Terrence shrugged, but he quickly realized it wasn’t enough information. “I’m flexible.”

It was barely helpful, so I raised one eyebrow and got a sigh out of him. “Words. You’re a words kind of Daddy.”

“Correct.” And he was a drama kind of cutie. “So you’re going to have to elaborate.”

Nodding to himself, Terrence stood straighter like he was giving a presentation at work. “I was being honest about being flexible. You’re Daddy now, so that changes things. You’re not just the man who barks orders and frowns.”

Something sparked inside his brain and his face lit up. “You’re the boss. You’re Enzo.”

For fuck’s sake.

“Yes. I’m Enzo.” He really hadn’t known any of our names. “And I should’ve realized you never used anyone’s name.”

There’d been a lot of honey and darling and oh my god, what did you dos.

“I’m getting so much better at the name thing.” Looking very pleased with himself, he wiggled excitedly. “Which one is Carlo and which one is Sergio?”

God.

“You said you wanted to climb Carlo like a tree and use Sergio like a body pillow.” Somehow he didn’t seem to find those comments to be inappropriate, though.

“Carlo has an L and that looks like a tree. I can remember that.” His face scrunched up. “Sergio looks long and mostly flat with that bump at the top. Yes, that’s like a really good pillow.”

Huh?

“You’re picturing the words? Their names written out, I mean.” When he nodded and gave me a curious look, I shrugged. “Just trying to make sure I understand the explanation.”

Filing that away to remember later, I tried not to let him lead us down a conversational rabbit hole. “Back to our discussion so I can plan our evening without crossing boundaries. What are you asking for?”

“Definitely dinner. You’re my Daddy now. That means you’re responsible for feeding me.” Looking around, he finally seemed to take in the state of the kitchen. “And while I’m close to having a kitchen again, I don’t feel like cooking.”

“That’s all very good information.” And it would help me make better decisions for us…but that wasn’t really what I’d been focused on. “Now the orgasms part, please.”

His face scrunched up and he ran his fingers through his hair. It always started out the day perfectly styled but it ended up looking like he’d never seen a brush. “I haven’t restarted at all this afternoon. I don’t know.”

Like rebooting a computer?

He was going to make life interesting.

“Alright, give me five limits and then I will make the decision about what happens next.” Relief flashed over his face but the focused stubbornness that quickly followed made me nervous.

“Limits. I can do this.” Looking a bit like he was solving world peace for a billion-dollar game show prize, his eyes narrowed and I knew he wasn’t seeing me anymore. “No penetrative sex without a condom until we’ve had the is it safe conversation. Mild spankings until we’ve had the pain conversation. No making me eat squishy vegetables without asking me for a list of acceptable ones first. No trying to play out abduction fantasies. I use the stoplight colors because the lights flash in my head.”

That seemed to bring him back to reality because he was focusing on me again. “Did you know some people don’t have pictures in their head? Leander doesn’t. His head is dark and blank. He doesn’t like that description, though. He says it makes him sound like a cartoon character that’s really stupid.”

I was pretty sure I was on Leander’s side, but I didn’t think Terrence needed to know that. “You did a very good job coming up with five important limits. Is there anything else you think I need to know right off the bat? Like not touching grown-up parts or anything like that?”

There were dozens of questions I should’ve asked him before we did anything, but there was no way he had the patience for that.

Terrence’s head cocked. “You have to touch the grown-up parts to make me come fast enough not to lose my mind. We can play with things like seeing if petting my hands will make me come later.”

His brain was an interesting place…but it wasn’t dark and empty.

“Thank you for making that clear.” Grasping for a plan that wouldn’t make me look stupid or terminally confused, I decided my first course of action would be to get us out of the kitchen. “Alright, upstairs. The kitchen is too close to being done to christen it with cum.”

Nodding, Terrence looked around again. “We need to christen it with cookies…not bodily fluids. That can come later. Ha. Come.”

Grinning, he looked very pleased with himself, especially when I shook my head. “You’re so cute when you smile.”
