Her hand shook before she slid the blade back into her thigh strap, then leaned down and rested her head against my chest. “What if I use you right now, then save you after? Is that a fair bet?”

“Bet.” I actually laughed. “But I feel like I’m winning both times?”

“Are you though?” She reached for my engorged cock and squeezed.

“Yes. No. Harder. Holy shit, softer, damn what did they teach you?”

Her chuckle was dark as her teeth grazed my ear. “Everything.”

A chill ran down my spine so hard and long that I couldn’t think straight as I started tugging at the restraints. “Let me touch you.”

“No, I’m touching you.”

Her fingers ran down my chest. I bucked my hips; she’s so close but so far away. Tormenting me in a way I hated but needed in order to survive.

Tiny little touches.

Big long sighs on my part.

Every muscle strained against the ropes, against my need to take her, love her, kiss her, worship her.

Katya lowered herself onto me and threw her head back. My teeth clenched. “You can’t—”

“—I did.” She grinned and slowly sank herself onto me while my fists clenched; my wrists were going to start to burn and bleed at this rate. The need was so great.

My lips pressed together, then released the word. “Please.”

“Please, what?”

I squeezed my eyes shut, then opened them and smiled. “Take me for your pleasure, Katya. I’m all yours.

Our eyes met as she rode me, her hands on my chest, then moving to my biceps to grab hold. Every time her hair tickled my skin, I got closer.

“Yes.” I gritted my teeth. “Yes, kiss me.”

“Okay.” She leaned down and kissed the side of my neck and my ear; it was driving me crazy. “This good?”

“My mouth,” I demanded.

She rained kisses everywhere except where I asked, her soft wet mouth causing me to lose my mind as she slowly pumped her hips up and down, riding me, owning me.

I let out a roar when she gripped my wrists where the knots were the tightest and tugged, pulling me forward and her deeper.

“Not gonna last.” I cried out.

Her laugh was like music to my soul—sexy and warm perfection. “Good.”

Her neck strained as she held on to me, to the ropes. Every muscle around my dick was sucking me dry as I watched her take her pleasure, her pain, and remembered where we started.

And how it was ending before another insanely incredible beginning.

And all I had to do was nearly die in order to have this.

Worth it.

I followed right after her, dying from each rapid pump of my hips over and over again until I was spent.

My wrists were suddenly free, and she’s on top of me, looking into my eyes.

A tear ran down her cheek before she found my mouth and whispered against it. “I saved the best for last.”

“An orgasm?”

“No. Watching you while we kiss.”

“Because you love kissing so much?”

“Because I love seeing the way you watch us while we do.”

I smiled against her mouth. “It’s good.”

“It’s so good.”

I rubbed my hands down her back and pulled her close. “I say we keep the rope.”

“Bought two packs.”

“I knew I loved you the minute you looked ready to murder me.”

“I knew I loved you the minute you made me feel in control of my pain.”

I sighed against her temple, my lips finding her skin. “Always here, at your service, fellow warrior.”

“Good. So good.”

“Yes, you are.”

CHAPTER THIRTY

“Trace to me. You’re everything. I’d protect you until my dying day because I can’t imagine living in a world where your smile didn’t exist.” —Nixon Abandonato, Evoke

One Week Later

Eagle Elite University Front Lawn

Family Reunion

It was absolute chaos. There were screaming toddlers, infants crying because they wanted milk, Serena had been pranking the boys her age, and well, I thought whiskey wasn’t entirely out of the picture as Ax and Dom fought over the grill and argued with Vic over the correct way to make homemade barbecue sauce. Never thought I’d see any of them argue over sauce, but the closer they got, the more they argued.

It was a thing, apparently, in our clan.

Everyone was present. Every Family, including the Sinacores, and somehow it felt complete… like we were always supposed to end up here with our families on campus. As big as all our houses were, this was the only place that had enough lawn so we could at least control and watch for the kids, that allowed us all to eat and make sure everyone stayed alive, didn’t fall into a pool, find a horse or cow to pester, or in Chase’s case, chickens.

And I wanted safe, so I had the University security stay back for extra pay just to make sure the day went by smoothly.

It had been a rough few weeks, but at least now, things were calmer. Katya and Santino were given an ungodly inheritance from Santino’s grandfather, and as we predicted, her marrying into the Five Families solidified our position overseas. To make matters even sweeter, Andrei made Santino his underboss. I thought the guy was going to cry when Andrei said it. But who better to have as your underboss than a pure-blood Sinacore whose specialty is killing. Oh, and who was married to your baby sister. Bonus points for that.
