“Come on, Pixie. How about we put this on my workstation? It’s there with the open tool chest. I need to wash my hands, Little girl.”
She looked at his grimy fingers and didn’t grimace. He relaxed a bit. Nothing pissed him off more than a woman that looked down at him because he worked with his hands. Well, that was at least in the top ten. He couldn’t imagine anything Molly did that would make him angry.
Quickly, he scrubbed his hands with the pumice-filled cleanser. Grabbing a paper towel, he turned and dried his hands as he walked back to his bench. Molly had dragged his stool over and was in the process of folding a large paper napkin into something that resembled—something. He couldn’t quite tell.
“Come sit down and I’ll give you a lesson in banana pudding.”
“It’s that difficult to eat?” he asked, unable to keep the corners of his mouth from tilting up.
“Oh, yeah. Look, there are layers.” Molly lifted the clear bowl to point at the side. “You’ve got to get everything in one bite. Let me do the first bite for you.”
Faust watched her carefully—almost surgically—scoop out a bite with the large spoon. She raised it to his lips, watching him carefully. What else could he do? Opening his mouth, he allowed the endearing woman to feed him. He didn’t care that she smeared a bunch as she completed her self-appointed task.
“Oops!”
Flavor burst over his taste buds. His eyebrows raised as he chewed the concoction. Her face revealed her concern. He realized it was important to her that he loved this. Thank goodness this was the best thing he’d ever eaten.
Swallowing the bite, he licked his lips to remove the traces of the enthusiastic helping she’d spooned into his mouth. “There’s only one thing that would make this better, Little girl.”
“Oh, no! What?”
“Licking this off your body would be better,” Faust told her and watched her eyes widen in surprise.
“Do people do that? With banana pudding?” she whispered.
“I don’t care if anyone else does. It’s at the top of my to-do list now.”
Reaching toward the bowl, he scooped up a small amount of the sweet mixture and spread it on her lips. Faust loved seeing her eyes roll up in pleasure at the sensuous move before her gaze darted back to him, obviously not wishing to miss a second of this. Wrapping his hands around her upper arms, he gently pulled her forward until Molly stood between his legs.
Leaning forward, Faust nibbled at her bottom lip. Her sweet moan went straight to his cock. He swirled his tongue over his current target and felt her hands clamp over his shoulders as if she needed to hold on for stability. Moving to her upper lip, Faust continued savoring the treat.
Her arms wrapped around his neck as she pressed her mouth fully against his. To reward her response, Faust teased her inner lips with his tongue and deepened the kiss as she responded to his unspoken request. The sweet flavor he found inside completely erased the allure of the banana pudding. He pulled her closer, needing to feel her against him.
Flickering lights drew his attention, and Faust lifted his head. Immediately, he realized they were not alone. Lifting Molly off her feet, he stood and carefully set her behind him. A cluster of Shadowridge Guardians stood in the entrance of the garage. He watched them shift weapons away as Molly peeked around him.
“The alarm went off on the door,” Steele explained, pointing to the open passage where Faust had let Molly inside.
Faust looked up at the ceiling, inwardly kicking himself. “We’re fine.”
“Good,” Kade said before dabbing at the corner of his mouth. “You’ve got a little something right here.”
“Fuck off,” Faust growled and watched the men’s amusement.
“Faust, that’s not nice,” Molly said, sliding around him to wave at the gathered men. “Hi! My fault. I brought Faust some banana pudding as a thank you for helping with my tires.”
“Ooo, my nana used to make that,” Talon shared.
“Would you like…”
Faust cut in to stop her. “Mine,” he stated in a tone that everyone recognized as nonnegotiable.
That sparked additional laughter. Small hands wrapped around one of his arms, hugging it to her body before her hand slid into his. Faust looked down at Molly to see if she was appalled that he wouldn’t share. To his delight, she looked happy.
“I’ll make more for you all,” she promised. “I made this batch for Faust. It’s the first time he’s had banana pudding. I think he likes it.”
“I’d say,” Steele agreed with a shit-eating grin. “Come on, guys. Everything is okay here.”
“Hey, how did you get to the shop?” Kade asked Molly.
“I just pushed the metal gate open. It wasn’t locked,” Molly said, tightening her grip on Faust’s hand. “I’m sorry. Did I screw something up?”
