“Slow down Rory,” I tell her. When she makes it to me, I am on my knees, pulling her onto my lap. “Now, what’s got you so excited, Princess?”

“Auntie Aurora is taking me and Star to see Disney Princesses on Ice.” Ah. I forgot. Of course this is why she is erratically vibrating. My daughter and her namesake are quite close. The moment my little girl was born Ro, deemed herself her godmother and oftentimes, my wife and I had to track her down for our own child. Her and Ro’s daughter Star are ‘besties’, as they call it, even so much so that Star refused to go to preschool until Aurora could go. Yeah I know. Girls.

“Oh wow. When are you going?”

“Mommy says I have to go pick out my favorite princess outfit because we are leaving bright and early in the morning, and I am having a sleepover with auntie Aurora tonight.”

“That sounds like too much fun. Well, sweetheart, you should go and do that. Where are your brothers and sisters?”

“In the pool with Mommy.” Nodding my head I kiss her cute little face and send her with her nanny who just walked up. Walking to the back of the yard, I hear laughter and splashing, and it never ceases to make me smile.

“Mommy, look.” I am just in time to see my second oldest Faye do a backflip in her life vest.

“Good job, baby. Can you do it again?” My wife asks, while she swings our youngest L.J. around. Faye does her little flip once more and this time I clap super loud, and everyone turns to look at me.

“Daddy!!” Fays singsongs. “Are you coming in with us?”

“I sure am.” I tell her pulling my shirt over my head and walking into the pool. I can feel my wife’s heated eyes on me and so can my cock. Thank fuck it is being submerged in water right now.

Swimming over to my daughter, I pick her up and we wade toward her mother. “Did Aurora come and find you and tell you about her big day tomorrow?”

“You know she did.” Faye wiggles to get down and I let her before grabbing my baby boy from his mom. Blowing on his stomach, his giggles fill me with a level of warmth unlike anything I knew existed.

Settling him against my chest, I sniff his head and lean into my wife. “How’s mama doing?” She smiles and leans in for a kiss.

“Mama is doing great. This one is on the same clock as me.” She rubs her stomach and smiles at me. She is six months pregnant with our fourth child, our third daughter, and she has never looked more radiant. Motherhood looks good on her.

“Does that mean tonight when Dddy wants to do bad things to Mommy, baby will be asleep?” My hand rubs the spot under her bikini bottom that leads to her wet lips. My body is covering the front of her so little eyes can see nothing.

“Yes. All the babies will be asleep,” she says, gasping when my finger slips through her swollen folds and rubs her a bit before removing my hand. When her eyes open back up, I can’t stop myself from looking at her and thinking about how all of this could not have happened and as always I am eternally grateful.

“Thank you, Piccola. Thank you for this life. For my children. For a reason to be. Thank you for loving me.” She puts her hand on my cheek, we both smile when L.J. babbles between us. Her eyes shine with love and contentment.

“I should be thanking you for rescuing me. Saving me. Loving me through my pain and seeing me. You didn’t know me, didn’t know what you were getting but you loved me and gave me a family. A life. Love. I love you, Larabee.” Forever.
