She was washing more glasses when Kat sidled up to Buck, who was still at the bar. Hooking an arm around his shoulders, she pushed her breasts against his side. “Why don’t you come over and sit with us?”

“I’m watching the game.”

“How come you can’t be as much fun during the day as you are at night?”

Buck removed her arm to lift her onto his lap. A happy squeal had Arden raising her eyes to see Buck nuzzling between Kat’s breasts. Kat’s legs had gone around Buck’s hips so she was straddling him.

“You didn’t get enough of me last night?” he muttered, using his mouth to tug her low-cut top even lower.

Arden kept her eyes on what she was doing. Just six more hours, and I can leave, she kept telling herself. She could do this.

As she turned away from the sink, her eyes were caught by Doom’s as he turned the corner from the back, followed by Wizard and two women who she had briefly seen the day she had barged into the club.

One of the women gave Doom’s ass a sudden squeeze before breaking away from the group, which was taking the largest table in the club.

“Sorry I’m late. We were preoccupied, and time got away from me.” The woman gave her a smile as she stepped behind the bar. “I’m Celeste, by the way.”

Arden gave her a friendly smile back. “It’s nice to meet you. I’m Arden.”

Celeste looked around, giving an appreciative whistle. “Damn, I don’t think I’ve ever seen this place so clean.”

“It’s a habit of mine.”

“I need a habit like that. Unfortunately, I tend to make more of a mess than actually clean anything.”

“I thought you were bringing us beers, Celeste?” Wizard spoke from the table just inches away.

The woman made a face at Wizard, but hurriedly grabbed three beers for the table.

Steadily, more members started arriving. A couple brought boxes of pizza. Arden was kept busy handing out beer. Luckily for her, Celeste saw she wasn’t good at making the more complicated drinks and started filling those orders.

The whole time, Arden steadfastly tried to ignore Buck and Kat copulating just inches away, unable to mistake what was happening when Kat started bouncing up and down on Buck, nor the fact that it didn’t bother them that they were having sex in full view of everyone. She was relieved when Kat unseated herself to go the restroom, and then horrified when Buck unashamedly stood with his jeans still open and headed to the back of the club.

She blushed when Celeste caught her embarrassment.

“You’ll get used to it.”

Arden highly doubted she would.

Feeling several pairs of eyes watching her reaction, she started clearing the bar top where the empty pizza boxes were sitting. Neither Doom nor Wizard had looked her way. They had gone to the end of the room and were playing a game of pool.

Celeste grabbed the remote control and turned the television off before turning music on.

As the afternoon wore on, more members started coming more frequently. She was so busy that she didn’t notice two new arrivals until they took stools at the far end of the bar.

She and Celeste had naturally divided the bar in half when Celeste had gravitated toward the side where Wizard and Doom were playing. The new arrivals were sitting in her area.

“Hi. What can I—”

“Burn, Hawk…” Arden was cut off when Celeste miraculously appeared. “I was beginning to think I wouldn’t see you today.”

Arden moved aside as Celeste started gushing over the men. Celeste leaned across the counter excitably, as if she wanted to snatch the two men up. Staring at her admiringly, Arden was frankly shocked the two men only gave her a brief glance, asking for beers.

When Celeste didn’t move, preferring to remain standing with her large breasts planted on the counter so the pale-pink crop top would slip down her shoulders to expose the black bra underneath, as well as the cleft between her breasts, Arden reached into the cooler and took two out. When she placed the beers in front of them, the men thanked her.

“Arden, meet Burn—” Celeste nodded to the man with the dark chestnut hair, “and Hawk.”

Arden didn’t have to wonder how Hawk had gotten his nickname. His penetrating gaze had the hairs at the back on her neck rising. He appeared to be in his early thirties, yet the look in his eyes gave the impression he had seen it all and life held no surprises for him anymore. Burn didn’t put off the friendliest vibes, either. He just drank his beer, wanting to be left alone.

She glanced around the bar; everyone seemed to be good for now, so she gave the two men apologetic smiles and tapped Celeste on the shoulder. “If you don’t mind, I’m going to take a twenty-minute break to eat my lunch.”
