I drove around for a while still no closer to a solution. Thanksgiving was in two days. Another thought hit me. It was something I’d learned about Jace and his family even before we dated. “Is she serious? Thanks for telling me.” I hung up the phone after talking to the head of the security team I had watching Sian’s family home. Though she wasn’t going back there, her family was set to move back after the Holiday which was tomorrow.
We’d been home for half a day and were still getting used to being back. Everyone had gone back to their homes which felt strange. We’d had such a great time together, no one wanted it to end.
Now we’re back there’s been a lot of talk about where everyone was going to live. When I pitched the marriage thing on them I was thinking long term, what I see in the future, I forgot all about what happens when we return.
Both Shane and Jared planned to have their girls move in with them for the time being. The parents, who didn’t care that their kids were married, had decided that since the guys were heading off to college in a year, it didn’t make sense to move out and buy a place.

She nodded and put her head on my shoulder. “Still sleepy?” She shook her head but yawned. I rolled my eyes and put her head back down on my shoulder. She was out like a light in a few seconds flat.
I sat there while she slept trying to figure out what to do. I have to find a way to leave. If I call one of my boys they’re going to want to get involved and that’s not gonna happen.
