I hung up the phone before my nosy ass wife saw me and started asking questions. It was almost time to put the squeeze on Mr. Stanley to smoke his son out of his hidey hole, but I wanted to wait until we were on our way back before making that move. Track and his spying ass was giving me the side eye. Two can play that game brother.

“Finally!” Hours later we boarded the jet for the six hour flight. We’d stayed longer than was planned but I’d checked and she would still be able to catch the sunrise.
“Oh hush! You had as much fun as we did.”
“You had fun baby? You’re not tired?”
“Nope, I’m wide awake. I like this private jet thing I can get used to travelling like this.”
“You will be.”
“Hungry? Want me to have them make something for you to snack on?” I don’t see how seeing as she’s been eating all damn day. I rubbed her tummy just to fuck with her. I’ve been doing it all day and she was getting more and more pissed. Good for her sneaky ass.
The hostess dimmed the cabin lights and I could hear the others whispering and settling down. This one was asleep before the wheels left the tarmac but she wasn’t tired. “Lying ass.”
I waited until she was out cold before lifting her and taking her to the bedroom in back. “Belle, Tammy, Valerie, Cassie, that bed can hold all of you. Don’t roll over on my wife.”
They dragged ass back there and I closed the door behind them. Now it was just us guys.
“Jace, you went to the Caymans lately?” Track was on his laptop with a worried look on his face.
“Yep! I beat you to it huh.”
“What did you do with it?”
“Let’s just say they’re three kids back in L.A. with some nice starter funds and one in the bedroom back there.”
“What’re you guys talking about?” Shane looked from me to Track and back again. “When did you go to the Cayman Islands? And you didn’t take me? That sucks bro.”
Track and I shared a smile. I don’t know if this is how things will work in the future, but in this one thing, I wasn’t sharing any information until it was done. All the way done.
I couldn’t help thinking how people get themselves in shit that they can’t see their way out of. She had a good thing going. I would’ve left her alone. Save Cassie’s family and let her carry on with her shit. It had nothing to do with me after all.
But she had to cross the fucking line and almost caused me to get blood on my hands. Until Kelly told me that she knew for certain Mandy got Stanley to attack Sian, there was still room for doubt.
Though I was almost certain from the very beginning. But with that doubt erased she’d run out of chances.

SIAN
* * *
“Sian, what the hell….?”
“Shh!” I barely made it into the bathroom in time to throw up. This stuff is getting annoying. I’m constantly having to stuff my face only to throw it up a little bit later.
I had to trick Jace into bringing me back here because I knew it was coming and didn’t want any witnesses, namely him. But I didn’t know he was going to bring the girls in here with me. What did he think? That someone was going to sneak on the plane and snatch me? Damn nut!
“What’s wrong Sian, did you eat something bad earlier?”
“My ass, we all ate practically the same thing. What gives?”
Dammit, I forgot Valerie is mini Track. I wasn’t planning on telling them yet. Not because I didn’t want them to know, but because the less people who know, the less chance of Jace finding out.
“Okay, I was going to keep this until we got back home, but if this keeps up I’m going to need you guys to cover for me.”
“What? Cover what?”
“I’m pregnant. Shh-shh-shh.” I looked toward the door to make sure my warden hadn’t been alerted by their squeals.
“Girl are you sure?”
I nodded my head at Tammy’s question. They’d all looked in shock for the first few seconds after the news, but now they were all smiling and Cassie was crying.
“How do you feel? I mean, about the pregnancy.”
“You know Val, I’m still not sure. I’m not as scared as I was in the beginning, and I know there’s no way I’m not having him or her because that would be like killing Jace.”
“But there’s so many things I wanna do ya know.” I listened to their reassurances and tried to put a bright face on the situation. One tear fell, it didn’t even make it down my cheek, and as if he has radar the door opened and there he stood. “Oh hi husband.” The stupid tears refused to stop.
